Billy Knight is an extremely funny-looking man. He's like Don King Lite - I always confuse him with Billy King though.

problem i see with the trade is, they did it only to do a quick fix for pierce. pierce said he would demand a trade if they kept the pick and didnt get a vet. they ruined the future imo just to keep pierce happy. mark my words, 4 years from now both players are out of boston and we will not even have sniffed the conference finals

I know alot of people will be like "What the fuck?"
Thaddeus Young is a steal at 12 IMO. If it wasn't for his freshman season where he was held back by his ballhandling and the fact he played in the post in High School (people really expect a big to easily translate his game to the wing at a higher level in just 1 year?) he would of gone top 5.
I think he's gonna be a 25/5/5 player some day and people are gonna be wondering why he went so low. I laugh at every mock that had him in the 20's.

Al Thornton will be the first big steal of the draft. I'm shocked New Orleans took Wright over Thornton. Horrible pick. First big mistake of the draft.
Fri Jun 29, 2007 10:55 am
amazed thorton is still on the board. maybe he can fall all the way to round 2 and to the celtics and i wont call the night a complete loss?

The Boston Celtics acquired guard Ray Allen from the Seattle Supersonics on Thursday night for Delonte West, Wally Szczerbiak and the No. 5 first-round pick, according to ESPN.com's Andy Katz. Boston selected Georgetown forward Jeff Green with the fifth pick for Seattle.
The Celtics also get the Sonics' 35th pick in 2007 as part of the deal.
Allen underwent surgery in April on both of his ankles. He called it a season in late March, unable to tolerate the pain in his left ankle as a result of inflammation from bone spurs. Statistically, it was the seven-time All-Star's finest season scoring, averaging 26.4 points per game, including a career-best 54-point performance against Utah in January. But the ankle and an early season foot injury limited Allen to just 55 games.
This was a mixed bag for me as a Sonics fan. I think it makes sense to trade Ray just because he'll be retiring when Durant goes into his prime, but i have no idea if Jeff Green is the player we want, as another SF in addition to Rashard & Durant & Wally...especially considering guys like Yi & Brandan Wright were still available.
Happy to have West thrown in, a West/Ridnour combo will work great IMO.
I trust that Presti really believes Green will be a special player.

Haha, you are angry at Stephen A for correctly guessing the pick?
im not angry, i was joking around. plus, those guys know who the pick is ahead of time (i think)

Um, no they don't know who the pick is. Don't know where you get that.
Good pick by the Clippers. That's a great fit for them.
Fri Jun 29, 2007 11:01 am
Thornton is an absolute steal. Billy King is foolish.
EDIT: Crap, Indy already said that.

I had heard that somewhere. Yeah, he probably guessed, i was just suspicious that he was right.
We should have picked Thornton, more proven.

This is being discussed in the draft thread and the Celtics thread already.

I think Nick Young goes next to Washington. I like Rodney Stuckey a lot, shame Joe Dumars is so smart.
Fri Jun 29, 2007 11:09 am
they missed out on brewer imo, hell even take the risk of yi, though i think brewer would have been better. either way its an upgrade and seattle should be more fun to watch and get alot more tv time.

that can be up for debate

Yeah Young definately to Washington.
Fri Jun 29, 2007 11:11 am
If Jared Dudley slips past the Spurs (which he won't) and we nab him at 32, I'll be very, very happy.

AH! I'm sorry Buckley, please don't hurt me.
I think New Jersey reaches for Jason Smith here.
Fri Jun 29, 2007 11:13 am
Who do you guys think New Jersey goes with?
I say Sean Williams.
That's a big steal if he keeps his head together.

Good god, Portland gets Francis? I think I found my new favorite team
Fri Jun 29, 2007 11:16 am
Wow. The Zach trade went down. Now the Knciks have 2 big post scorers allergic to defence.
Channing Frye, LaMarcus Aldridge and Greg Oden is one hell of a young frontline.
EDIT: LMAO at Stephen A Smith.
Loving these moves!

That guy in the Knicks (is that a Lee jersey? And no I'm not talking about Spike Lee, it was this other random fan) jersey is annoying. Wow, Randolph, Dickau, and Jones for Frye and Francis

.

Seattle & Portland are raping the east coast.
Isiah has lost his mind.
edit:
LA takes Crittenton i'm guessing?
Fri Jun 29, 2007 11:24 am
am i the only one who thinks putting a proven loser on a team with a guy who is used to winning a bad idea? francis is a curse, a cancer, bad idea imo. sure move randolph but they could have gotten better i think.
Fri Jun 29, 2007 11:28 am
They said Randolph was a cancer too though.
Belinelli should have alot of fun with the Warriors. I think the Lakers either take Jason Smith or Javaris Crittenton.
Probably Javaris.
