Another big game from Lin, despite the eight turnovers.

HaHa!!!
Wall's reaction is like "Seriously?Really?C'mon man."

Tough call for the officials to make there, but I'd have to agree that the Thunder were bailed out there. Still, great block by Westbrook at the other end:

Awful call cost Portland the game last night, but it was really because Wesley Matthews is the only passable guard on the roster - and he's in a slump. Aldridge is turning out to be as good as Roy ever was, but nobody on this spineless team can close out games. This team is definitely more of a 14-11 team than an 18-7 one (Pythag Record), but the inability to grab defensive rebounds and make shots down the stretch is a much bigger deal than a narrow loss against the anointed 2012 conference champs.

Looking at the box score of the Suns/Bucks game on my phone. Gooden scored 25 in 28 minutes and Childress grabbed 12 rebounds in 15!
Craziness

David Lee got a triple-double, Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant both came close, and Monta Ellis scored 48. Thunder won by 3.

Daequan Cook did a pretty good job of filling in for Sefolosha. A season high 17 points, 6-8 fg (5-6 3pt).

What's with the Seattle Supersonics logo in the OKC bench? Some fan pissing the Thunder?

Westbrook hit Batum's hand.
Wed Feb 08, 2012 10:22 pm
The hand is part of the ball, that's usually the way it goes. Good block.
However, the NBA has
admitted they messed on the goaltending call. That's always an awkward situation, it's nice that they acknowledge the mistake but at the end of the day it doesn't change anything.
Also, Billups is
out for the season with a torn achilles tendon.

Clippers curse gotta take down someone, anyone, and it is Billups.

Violet Palmer should go back to the kitchen. (Sixers-Spurs game, near end of 3rd quarter)
Thu Feb 09, 2012 12:25 pm
Another double-double for Duncan and another great game for Parker.Sean Elliot said it best tonight that "it would be a crime if Tony(Parker)does not make the reserves tomorrow.".
The Spurs bench is,in my eye's,one of the best so far this year.
Gary Neal:18 points/5 boards/6 assists/4 for 4 from the 3point line and Tiago adding 15 points for the bench.
And the possible return of Ginobili this saturday against New Jersey.Very limited role though.

Tony Parker just showed why the Sixers won't go past the Bulls or Heat in the playoffs.

Dirk is back finally. Time to watch the NBA again.

Pretty ordinary performance by the Heat today. Admittedly Howard was on his game, showing off his continually improving post play while putting up another 20-20 effort, and the Magic were raining threes, but the Heat looked very disinterested at times and LeBron was a non-factor in the second half.
Fri Feb 10, 2012 2:19 am
The Magic are interesting. I'm not sure if they're even a top 10 team in this league, but I'd say they are one of the few with a theoretical chance to win it all due to how many threes they take, and yet could also realistically get swept in the first round. Massive standard deviation.
Fri Feb 10, 2012 8:17 am
I agree. I lean towards them fizzling out in the first round though or getting no further than the second round though, and that's assuming they gamble on not trading Howard.
Fri Feb 10, 2012 11:42 am
I've been enjoying Linsanity's run lately. I'm hoping he can keep it up and be a solid point guard for the Knicks... they definitely need one.
Fri Feb 10, 2012 4:56 pm
The Thunder seems to me like the most underwhelming 20-5 ever*
*except for the 2010-11 Mavs lololololololol
Fri Feb 10, 2012 5:35 pm
Ibaka: 10 Blocks, but in losing effort. Still great Numba

Cousins and Evans has been on a tear after Westphal was fired.
Sat Feb 11, 2012 1:42 pm
I'm pretty sure Kobe will know who he is after the performance he's put in tonight.
Sat Feb 11, 2012 4:17 pm
I should think so too. He'll have to wait until next year to get revenge, too.
