I don't mind losing to the Griz, unless they are our first round matchup
Tue Mar 08, 2011 11:18 pm
So you're somewhat afraid for that matchup in the first round?
Tue Mar 08, 2011 11:58 pm
I actually would be. Actually, the Lakers should be even more worried, given their history against the Grizz. The Grizz are playing really good right now, and they'll be a scary team once Rudy Gay comes back. I can't believe the team is doing so well while starting Sam Young!
They beat OKC yesterday as well. A team to watch.
Fri Mar 11, 2011 3:40 pm
Beat New York. Was surprised they didn't bounce back and beat us.
Fri Mar 11, 2011 9:01 pm
Oh yeah. On the other hand, Denver won big while Melo played really awfully for NYK tonight. Karma is a b.....

Lakers today. GO MAVS!!
Sun Mar 13, 2011 6:25 pm
Damn... Lakers playing really well these days. Second place now. Great time to be playing well for sure. For some reason, I fell that Chandlah and Novizkit won't be enough for Gasol and Bynum in the playoffs. We shall see though...
Sun Mar 13, 2011 6:54 pm
Lakers are still in third place, but the Mavericks only have a half game lead on them now.
Sun Mar 13, 2011 6:55 pm
Mavs aren't clutch these days. Hope they can bounce back and win those close games in the future.

Anyone feeling a starting lineup of Chandler, Haywood, Nowitzki, Brewer, Kidd? That's huge and it would work too! Three seven-footers on the floor at once.
Mon Mar 14, 2011 4:52 am
Haywood would get destroyed by any power forward with a pulse and they would have less size off the bench.
Mon Mar 14, 2011 11:12 am
Mahinmi at PF then?
Mon Mar 14, 2011 12:19 pm
How about Dirk at PF?
Mon Mar 14, 2011 8:39 pm
Dirk can't play SF anymore. He could in his first two or three years, but at the age of 32 and his anyway limited athleticism, there's no reason to put him at the three.

The Dallas Mavericks is the world champs and no one is talking about them?
Wed Dec 07, 2011 5:25 pm
Dallas who?
Wed Dec 07, 2011 5:27 pm
I bet they lose Tyson Chandler when some team signs him to a near-max deal.

Up until the last week or so, there hasn't been much to talk about for anyone.
I think they're right there in the mix again. I'm hesitant to pencil them in for a repeat as I feel it's wide open to a few teams this season but they deserve to be mentioned as one of the frontrunners if they can bring Chandler back and stay healthy.
Sat Dec 10, 2011 11:51 pm
So....
What does Mavs fans say about the Brandan Wright singing and the pending Vince Carter one?
Sun Dec 11, 2011 1:44 am
Or that the Magic gave Dwight Howard permission to talk to 3 teams, and one of them were the Mavs.
Sun Dec 11, 2011 1:58 am
Just heard that news on SportsCenter, but I don't wanna get my hopes up.
Sun Dec 11, 2011 2:02 am
I think they have a shot, the Nets will most likely go after Nene, a little cheaper, and then it's between LA and Dallas. It's gonna be a mess.
