Why would PayPal allow transactions to an e-mail address that I <still> have, but there's no bank account to go with it? So you're saying you did pay the $5, but some random guy who happens to be using my e-mail address has it now?

Comprimising someone's personal information after they've asked you not to may not be against the rules, but it certainly is an asshole thing to do.
