The rebounding still bothers me too, though it's easier to stomach as long as he's scoring and the Bulls are still winning. That's not to say I wouldn't like to see improvement but for the meantime Chicago is still finding a way to win without Curry being a huge factor on the boards.

Another win today, they're now one win away from securing a playoff appearance. This latest win also makes them 19-19 on the road, which is as many total road victories as Detroit and San Antonio (though those teams have slightly fewer losses).

othella harrington and antonio davis have stepped up reasonably to fill the void of curry. it's all about the chander show right now..

i'd love to see curry up his rebounding too (he didn't even average 10 in HIGH SCHOOL!?) but his offensive skills are something the NBA lacks. its unfair but he'll probably going to get a dampier-type contract, even though he doesn't deserve it. i'd give him 8 mil for 4 years (or w/e foyle's contract is)

chandler: 7 mil for 6 years (or 42 mil and 10% increase)?

Sorry to change the subject from the big men, you know what's friggin awesome? Everyone keeps talking about Gordon, Heinrich, but you know who the star of this team will be? Deng. I'm not saying Gordon, Heinrich, Curry, Chandler, etc are not going to be great players, but Deng is going to be SO good. I'm pumped.

Oh, I wanted to point out that in high school I played against Heinrich. He was very fast. Well, I was a 6'3 center so I didn't guard him, but the view from the bench was great.

I hope Deng is around for years to come, I like what I've seen from him too. And for what I haven't seen, I like what I've read as far as stats are concerned. It's a shame he'll miss the playoffs.

I wish he had ended up on the Suns like he should have. I would take Deng, over Vroman and a pick any day.

The dominance over the Raptors continues, and with win number 44 the Chicago Bulls have made it official: they'll be active participants for at least four games in the 2005 postseason. :D

If the playoffs began today, they'd already have it. They're a couple of games up on Indiana, though I'm hoping Washington can get back to the fifth seed - not out of hate of the Pacers, but rather the fact I like Chicago's chances against the Wizards much better.

CHANDLER!!!!! (Y)

ok, am i being annoying yet? poor gordon; 0-10 from field though!

still, i'm just happy that chandler had an amazing game.. 21 boards, to go along with a decent 18 points (in his case, godly). can't wait until he starts developing that "J" that he was billed with when he entered the draft..

Tough talk, though I guess you can afford to be so confident - the Pacers are playing well right now, even if they did lose to the Knicks. :P

Chicago only needs four more wins to clinch the fourth seed. Even if the Pacers or Wizards go 6-0 from here on, if the Bulls finish 4-2 that will be enough. All three teams have somewhat agreeable schedules.

all the bulls need to do is have nocioni body slam reggie then stephen jackson will do something stupid :P

the pacers would be a tough matchup but i like the bulls chances especially if curry will available for the series. he manhandled the pacers in the 2 games he played (both wins)

maybe the pacers don't even get the 5th seed. out of the bullets, bulls, and pacers- indiana does have the toughest sched: other then toronto, who plays very tough at home, the rest of their opponents are playoff hopefuls.

i'd rather see the pacers get the 6th seed so they can play the pistons in the 2nd round

im starting to hope the pacers get the 6th seed now, because they have a good shot at getting Home court advantage against the Celts. But the problem is, if they keep winning they get the 5th seed, if they start losing they get the 6th seed but no HCA... :?

dammit! despite chandler's tremendous contribution, bulls lose to the F-ing pistions. if it's one team i hate the most, its definitely the pistons. first lakers, now they're starting to look like the team last year, unleashing that out on the bulls ticks me off

FUK YOU DETROIT PISTONS!!!

They could have had that one. :( The slim chance at getting the Central is gone (it would have required the Pistons to lose their last six anyway, which wasn't likely in the first place), but a 4-1 finish clinches the Central. A loss to Washington on Wednesday would be costly to say the least, as far as the fourth seed is concerned anyway.

i thought Bulls had it....Pistons missed first 3 in OT and Nocioni drilled a 3 for Bulls followed by a Hinrich layup.

Later on Hamilton missed 2 FT's which is unusual, but Billups showed his clutch game knocking down a 3, followed by a long two for the game.

lol ok bud, where was billups in the pistons 2 losses to the bulls

playoff style game. the UC was booming. the pistons big game experience helped them in the end and the bulls lack of it did them in. it was really strange to see billups and rip miss all those ft's. i credit the pistons for pulling that one out

but for the bulls, `even if it's a heartbreaker, this definitely can be used as a stepping stone. skiles and the players will use this as a learning experience. also it must be a confidence booster for them to know they could beaten the east's 2nd best team playing without eddy curry (and deng)

Nocioni has just been suspended for one game after elbowing Tayshaun Prince in overtime last game. One game is not a big deal, but I'm glad they're "punishing" him even if it was an accident.
