You never know when Kobe's gonna score 120 points....
Wed Dec 17, 2014 3:02 am
Kobe should stop playing when he feels like he no longer has the talent to be the best. Kobe still looks like that old man mamba, even though his percentage is lower. If he can't keep playing strongly, giving 20+ ppg I doubt he'll continue playing. This contract is most likely the end for Bryant.
Wed Dec 17, 2014 8:35 am
Offensively, he's still got it, shooting percentage and efficiency aside. Defensively though, he's a shadow of his former self.

Grizz looking to snap Warriors' streak.
That travel, though
Wed Dec 17, 2014 1:32 pm
Dubs better pull this through. And Kobe's shadow would play better D right now.

Jabari Parker would miss the remainder of the season because of a Torn ACL

Clutch shots galore... instant classic until Ginobili messed up shooting a 3 when they're just down 1 with still 5 seconds on the clock...
Thu Dec 18, 2014 4:31 pm
That's what Gino does. Love him, but sometimes he has no sense of decision at all.

That has to be an early candidate for game of the year. Would've liked to have caught that one live.

Definitely.
Neither team excites me much but that one looks like one for the age.

Who do you guys have for MVP this year?
I got Anthony Davis... Bold, I know, but with LeBron slowing down, KD missing roughly twenty games, and Melo/Kobe stuck in their individual hells, I can't deny the amount of talent Davis has. His team sucks, but the brow is phenomenal.
Fri Dec 19, 2014 7:09 am
If the Pelicans don't make the playoffs he won't even be in consideration for the award.
It's James Harden and Stephen Curry at this point in the season.

He's definitely All-NBA First Team if he keeps it up. The Pelicans' record will probably keep him from winning MVP, though I don't think he'd be unworthy of the nod. Sometimes, I think that too much emphasis is placed on team records when selecting individual awards and honours. That's not to say that I don't think it shouldn't be taken into account, and it does feel a bit iffy for a player on a lottery team or low seed to be in the MVP discussion, but if they truly are having a standout season...well, that's what the MVP award is supposed to recognise. To that end, The Brow is certainly a candidate.
Fri Dec 19, 2014 11:33 am
I agree. The Brow should win...
Rondo has finally left Beantown.

Kobe! Kobe! Kobe! Kobe! Kobe! Kobe! Kobe! Kobe!
jk.
Harden all the way. Fuck you Dwight.
Sat Dec 20, 2014 1:07 am
Man, so far it seems that Durant and LeBron won't even be in the MVP race. Only megastar playing well this season is Kobe. And that tells you something
It's all Curry, Beard and Anthony Davis. And Griffin, meh.

Lillard's career-high 43
