You think Pau will move Ibaka out of the starting lineup instead of Kendrick Perkins. :?

Now that I think about it, Ibaka could probably go to the c spot and pau in the four. Pau cant be their center. He's too soft

Re: 2014 NBA Trades And Transactions

Yeah because if you play the 5 (C) in offense you can't play the 4 (PF) in defense. :?

Re: 2014 NBA Trades And Transactions

Thu Jul 03, 2014 10:36 pm

No. What I was saying is that they can both play defense andoffense but the other one (Ibaka) who has developed his mid-range and corner 3 shots are much more better in offense AND defense.

Acquisition of Pau Gasol makes OKC's frontcourt way too crowded.

Gasol
Ibaka
McGary
Adams
Perkins
Collison
Thabeet (team option)

I was hoping to see McGary and Adams getting more minutes over Perkins next season. But Gasol would make one of them back seated.

Thabeet is a no-no but Adams... I like this guy (no homo) he has the potential

I like Thabeet. He could be useful in Miami imo. Yeah, I realize I'm saying this for nearly all FAs. LoL

Free agent guard Thabo Sefolosha has reached agreement on a three-year, $12 million contract with the Atlanta Hawks, league sources told RealGM.

The Dallas Mavericks and Dirk Nowitzki have agreed upon a three-year contract worth approximately $30 million.

Sebastian Telfair has returned to the NBA, agreeing to a one-year, $1.3 million deal with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Sacramento Kings and Darren Collison have agreed upon a three-year, $16 million contract, according to sources.

That's a good addition for the Trailblazers.

Though Kaman's not going to be a factor for the Trailblazers, that's quite a bargain for a legit 7 footer.

I doubt moving to Portland is a good idea for a guy who had bouts of depression.

Kaman sucks but he still would have been the second best guy off the bench last year. If Mo Williams is retained, then I like it. If not, they overpaid for a stiff.

Lakers made it clear to Melo today they'd offer the maximum, 4-yr, $97mil contract they can, if he chose them.
The Lakers went all out in their presentation to Anthony. Jeanie Buss led a contingent that included brother Jim, general manager Mitch Kupchak, and even Hall of Famer James Worthy. The Lakers also showed a ‘Hollywood Presentation’ from Joel Silver, producer of ‘The Matrix.’

Anthony represents the Lakers’ best chance at quickly re-building the team into a championship contender. With him in town, the Lakers would try and bring back Pau Gasol and create their own Big Three in Los Angeles.
Some doubt now Kobe will land in time to make the Lakers meeting w/ Melo after time was changed. He's going to try to meet Melo later, tho

“If the Lakers get Carmelo, Pau will stay,” said a person familiar with Gasol’s thinking.

Lakers GM Mitch Kupchak has also reached out to representatives for former PG Steve Blake, according to a league source

he's not worth $5 million but he actually might be an upgrade from Freeland/Leonard

Anthony was the toast of Chicago for a day, his appearance for a meeting at the Bulls' arena captured by a swarm of local TV cameras as he walked past the revered Michael Jordan statue Tuesday at United Center.

Large images of him in a No. 7 Bulls jersey ran the length of the arena, and, later in the day, fans waited for him to finish dinner at the luxurious Peninsula hotel.

Houston, for its part, tried a similar salute that included large electronic images of Anthony wearing a No. 7 Rockets jersey outside its arena Wednesday when he visited. One problem: The number belongs to Rockets guard Jeremy Lin, who is under contract for one more season.

Lin responded on Twitter by referencing a biblical verse: "Luke 6:29 — If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also. If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them."

lol Rockets.

Rockets want Lin to leave. They couldn't have said it better with any words.

Patrick Patterson has agreed to a three-year, $18 million contract with the Toronto Raptors.

The Toronto Raptors have traded Steve Novak to the Utah Jazz. Along with Novak and the two years and $7.2 million left on his contract, the Raptors will send a future second-round draft pick to Utah, sources said. The Jazz will send the Raptors Diante Garrett, who, with a $915,000 non-guaranteed deal for this season, will be waived, sources said.

Spencer Hawes and the Los Angeles Clippers have agreed upon a four-year, $23 million deal.

Knicks offered Melo max contract and Pau Gasol being recruited by Phil Jackson to NYK is more reason for Melo to stay.
