Sterling's gonna be able to sell his club at high price. The Clippers are unstoppable!

Kinda amazed at CP3's numbers. No, I didn't watch the game but I think it's safe to say that he's won the game for the team and his owner Sterling. I don't care how you got those numbers because if someone on your team shot 12/14 from field, 8 of them threes (1 missed), and 10 assists with 2 TO, heck your team's chance of winning the game is more than likely.

Durant wasn't bad. But pretty lousy for a MVP. CP3 got robbed and you know it.

With all the physical/mental wear and tear Rose suffered over the last couple of years and with the way Westbrook would fit into the Bulls defensive mindset(which by my estimation he would do fairly well), I don't see it retarded anymore. It obviously isn't going to happen, but if offered, I bet you the Bulls would briefly consider it, before realizing the whole basketball world would crush on them if they let go on the basketball prodigy.

Durant (32-12-9) and Westbrook (31-10-10) nearly became the first two teammates to both record a triple double in a playoff game. Almost.

Loved seeing Steven Adams getting Griffin all worked up as well

Huge game for Durant and Westbrook, shame they couldn't make history there. This one could indeed be going to seven.

Westbrook has 3 triple doubles in this post-season already. LeBron has only 1 this whole season/playoffs. And Westbrook isn't even their main threat.

*sigh*

That was a bullshit triple double last night. That last "assist" was all Sefolosha.

Griffin certainly gets fouled hard. But he's a banger so...

EDIT: This game is so much better. I don't think I want to watch anymore IND/WAS series(first half was close but still boring), but this game is so much fun with much fluent offense.

EDIT: I seriously hate it when the ref screws up the call and give a coach technical foul for pointing out it was a wrong call. Chris Paul was awarded 3 freethrows on a wrong call and Scott Brooks a tech. That's a game fucking changer. 4 point swing in a blink.

EDIT: Steven Adams seriously is a fearless rookie. He's playing like a playoffs veteran, and an impact player at that. I think he'll have a long solid career in this league.

EDIT: What a great game. Ending could have been more exciting but this was still extremely close game.

We've seen more dramatic finishes in these Playoffs, but that's definitely the type of competitive, back and forth game that I was hoping to see from this series. A shame one of these teams is going to have to go home in the second round. Impressive performances by Durant and Westbrook once again.

So Westbrook just got called as "Mr. Triple-Double" guess Rondo is out of the spotlight?

Pretty much, but geez, Westbrook is totally loving the CP3 matchup.

But CP3 is like God compared to Westbrook.

True, but CP3 isn't perfect, and I don't think God('s) flops as much as Chris does.

But he does. Every time he does it someone gets cancer or AIDS or is born canadien.

What a terrible effort in the last couple of minutes by the Thunder. Bad defense and decisions, well deserved win for LA.

Sweet comeback by the Clippers. I'm sure Westbrook will get crucified for taking that open three at the end...

I believe everyone would rather want Durant take a wild contested 30-footer.

He should have even if he is 1-7 from 3 instead of being Mr. Unreliable like always.

lol at Durant being guarded and pwned by Chris Paul.

What a comeback. I didn't think it would be Darren Collison providing the finishing touches. But, if you are going to contend, your role players are the guys who need to balance the load.

I honestly did not like Blake Griffin's overly physical play. He attempted to physically beat his way to the basket too many times and put up poor shots. He had a move a year or two ago where he would do something similar, but then pivot away from the basket with a pumpfake leading to an up and under. I'm surprised he hasn't used it.

Jamal Crawford did a great job on Caron Butler early to help bring the Clippers back into the game.

Re: 2014 Playoffs: (2) Oklahoma City vs. (3) L.A. Clippers

Mon May 12, 2014 9:18 am

You'd play overly physical too if you kept getting hit in the balls.

Saw that shot again, the one Griffin did against the Warriors where he threw a wild reverse shot against the defender. I don't think that's a go to shot he should even consider doing. It's terrible and he just got lucky with it with the Warriors.

For a moment there I thought Darren Collison looked like Don Cheadle in the post-game conference.

It's sad having Vinny Del Negro do the analysis in NBA TV for a Clippers game. You can feel the sadness and bitterness.

So does the nba not care about players' genitalia because that's the second year in a row ibaka has intentionally hit Blake in the nuts. Seriously if the nba suspends Randolph one game and doesn't suspend ibaka it will prove they are corrupt and pulling for okc

And fuck vinny. He deserves to be sad and bitter because he's a shitty coach

Re: 2014 Playoffs: (2) Oklahoma City vs. (3) L.A. Clippers

Mon May 12, 2014 11:32 am

Ibaka didn't do it on purpose this time. Perkins pushed him into Blake. Vinny del Negro will become coach again, waiting for Doc to step down after Sterling retains ownership.
