Vancouver wins again

. Bad shooting night from Durant

I'm still glad that my prediction of Perkins' playing time is more reliable in an OKC W/L even if the series doesn't go up to 7 games.
Fri Apr 25, 2014 3:59 pm
Upset?

I think this series is over.
Fri Apr 25, 2014 4:34 pm
The Grizzlies may well end up advancing, but 2-1's a little early to be calling it a series.
Fri Apr 25, 2014 9:47 pm

Talk about a ballhog and an egotistical maniac player. Westbrook, again trying to be the Batman of OKC. They will never win a title with that kind of point guard IMO.
Fri Apr 25, 2014 9:56 pm
Yikes. Yeah, with that amount of time left, get that easy two.
Fri Apr 25, 2014 9:59 pm
I'm still keeping my head up. OKC in 6!

That will happen everytime when you have a player with low basketball IQ.

Nah, Grizz in 5 or 6.

Poor Kendrick.
Sat Apr 26, 2014 10:17 am
Then again, maybe Westbrook had a point...
Sat Apr 26, 2014 1:11 pm
I think that's Serge Ibaka wide open under the basket, not Kendrick Perkins. If he only passed that ball that would be an easy dunk.
Sat Apr 26, 2014 3:24 pm
At second glance, you're right. That's Perkins with the pick out on the perimeter. In that case...
Sat Apr 26, 2014 4:53 pm
How hilarious would it be if Pacers, Bulls, Thunder, Spurs -- all got knocked out on Round 1?
Sat Apr 26, 2014 5:44 pm
Likely to be knocked out -> Thunder and Pacers
Unlikely to be knocked out -> Bulls and Spurs
Sat Apr 26, 2014 5:51 pm
Really? You're still counting on the Bulls?

I remember that game, it was really a heartbreaking loss. Well, yeah, maybe Westbrook really had a point not to pass the ball.
KevinParker13 wrote:Really? You're still counting on the Bulls?
Yeah bro.

So far Mike Conley's controlling the tempo and has been the better PG in this series, OKC is settling for jumpers way too much and again not much help from the bench (you can argue that's maybe because of the ball distribution, shot selection from the main guys, imo as they played their best when Westbrook was down). This is why Westbrook is not a PG. If OKC can win game 4 I can see them winning the series as they are much explosive, younger and more talented team.
Sun Apr 27, 2014 3:22 am
Westbrook wasn't really a point guard, he used to be a shooting guard (or combo guard if you prefer) in UCLA
Sun Apr 27, 2014 3:34 am
OKC isn't better without Westbrook. The very same Thunder lost helplessly against very same Grizzlies in the second round last season because Westbrook was injured.
Sun Apr 27, 2014 4:13 pm
OKC win in OT(how many of those btw?). At this stage, I think that this and the GSW-LAC are the two series' that will most likely go down to 7.
Sun Apr 27, 2014 4:25 pm
3 straight OT games between the two. What a series
Sun Apr 27, 2014 8:32 pm
We could be seeing quite a few first round series go the distance. No complaints here, it's made this year's postseason a lot of fun.
Huge game from Reggie Jackson, though that Hail Mary three at the end of regulation was an embarrassing blunder given the amount of time that was left.

I thought he was about to pass it to Durant. Anyways, he could've at least dribbled the ball a bit and maybe get a good shot.
Sun Apr 27, 2014 8:45 pm
I was also surprised when he hoisted the shot instead of passing it to Durant, but he mustn't have had a good enough look at the clock.
