Re: Phil Jackson reach agreement with the Knicks

80% of me thinks he will stay because he likes money and spotlight and therz no better place than NY for that, biggest media giant.

I wouldnt be surprised though if he left and joined teams like Miami or Chickago bcuz thatz where remaining 20% comes into play.

I am. There is no reason for him to stay at Knicks. They aren't going to be a contender for the Finals for at least another 2 seasons. And by that time, the prime time for Melo might be over. A Bulls with Rose & Noah(Boozer out) or Rockets with Beard & Superman is much sensible & attractive for a player who badly wants a ring. My money is on the Rockets. But then again, how will Harden fit into the play then?

Phil Jackson can say all he wants, but Melo is leaving.

Yeah, that's why he went to NY. To win "championships". Please dude, with all the money and spotlight NY has to offer him (plus oa great experienced mind in Phil Jackson), he has absolutely no reason to leave. Like a championship contender needs a ballhawk who plays no D (but then again...Kobe...)

Come on guys, this is obvious, Melo now gets to say "Phil is saying all the right things, he'll build a winner" while staying and getting the extra $30 million.

Even Simmons figured this out.

Shuddap. What fun is it if we couldn't talk about possible landing places for Melo and LBJ. Keep the 20% alive.

I think Melo is beyond the whole "money & NY spotlight" phase. And he can't possibly bring his team a championship all by himself. Jordan, Kobe, LeBron couldn't do it. He knows that if he wants a ring, he needs another superstar with him.

You never know. We thought Dwight would stay as a Lakers because of money and shit.

Everyone knew Howard was a bitch and was gonna run away. He couldn't handle Kobe, among other things.

What universe was this? In mine more popular notion was he was gonna stay put even to the point where Kobe endlessly fucked it all up in their decision meeting.

I like how people forget about trivial history and then without any basis pass on as fact their own opinion of events...
...completely ignoring that Dwight was an indecisive fuckwit with the Magic when he was demanding a trade then decided to pick up his player option only to demand a trade again after a few months or that the Lakers weren't even in the top three of his preferred destinations when he was demanding a trade.

Re: Phil Jackson reach agreement with the Knicks

Sure, we get to listen to how whiny bitch Dwight was once again from... for what purpose and why, we hear this bitching again is a wonder. If you're gonna butt in or to start your usual bitching, try to be more clear instead of being a pointless troll again.

People who don't read are as clueless as Dwight Howard, illiteracy is not a joke people!

Nice and fun as usual. Out of all these years, you're the only one that didn't change at all imo. It's almost sad.

Re: Phil Jackson reach agreement with the Knicks

Wed Mar 26, 2014 6:08 pm

I've learned well enough now not to race in certain forum members' marathon of stupidity and cluelessness and it's no joke dealing with illiteracy or people with reading comprehension less than that of a monkey with a typewriter.

Re: Phil Jackson reach agreement with the Knicks

Wed Mar 26, 2014 6:30 pm

Nice sorry ass excuse for your incompetency to make any conceivable point, as shown in this discussion. Gets old.

Re: Phil Jackson reach agreement with the Knicks

Wed Mar 26, 2014 6:40 pm

I like how a point just flies over the heads of certain people and they get mad because they can't understand it and you wonder whether they're just ignorant, slow in comprehension, or needs help in reading. Sad indeed.

Re: Phil Jackson reach agreement with the Knicks

Don't be confused your inability to make any conceivable point with anyone's ignorance. Ever wonder why you're an infamous troll and jokester?

Just look at how worthless/meaningless paragraph of yours initiated all these insults (which you freakishly seem to enjoy for whatever the perverted reasons), which had zero relevancy anyway. Have fun, moron.

Re: Phil Jackson reach agreement with the Knicks

Wed Mar 26, 2014 7:37 pm

Nope not confused, crystal clear that your record of illiteracy speaks for itself.
lol infamous, forums with less than 15 regular posters excluding the patching sections, achievement! INFAMOUS!
Ever wonder why you're known as one of the 'slow' people here? Don't worry we still <3 each other here.

I like how people who have comprehension issues call out specific forum members with insults and when that specific person replies they can't handle the insults hurled back at them. The hurts, I can feels it, so sad. :(

Back to Phil Jackson news...

Would be nice if Phil Jackson made Ron Artest (because fuck Metta World Peace) a player scout.
http://espn.go.com/new-york/nba/story/_ ... lo-anthony
Jackson was joined in the suite for most of the second half by 2010 Lakers NBA Finals hero Metta World Peace, who was released by the Knicks earlier this season.

HERO!

Cry moa bitch. Moa.

This is only part of the forum that I actually care about (as everyone probably knows). This place once was rich with great discussions imo. I just think it'd be cool to have more regular posters and revive good old times. In that regard, I liked how stevehtown suggested the topic and sofnawesome expressed his opinion. That kind of act should be encouraged, not discouraged. I wasn't saying mandich was wrong but was just pointing out that it's still an open discussion as Melo leaving the Knicks at least is conceivable due to surrounding circumstances (and there's no need to go after someone's throat for expressing an opinion. it discourages posting at a dying forum).

So finally, back to the topic...

Actually, I think there would have been greater chance/notion of Melo leaving the Knicks if it wasn't for the Knicks' recent winning stretch. Chandler expressed extreme displeasure being a loser earlier this season and hinted wanting out at the season end too. Plus, imagine this team finishing somewhere between 11 to 13th place with 25-30 wins which actually looked where they were headed to.

No one's discouraging anyone or 'going after anyone's' throat but...

lol at the thought that when the forums were 'alive' it was always full of sunshine, happiness, group hugs, and caring.

Re: Phil Jackson reach agreement with the Knicks

I never thought I would say this, but I agree with Novu. He actually wrote something that can't be argued. This probably is the one the few live and meaningful parts of the forum. The point of this part is DISCUSSION, the thing we all post for.

Shadow, you're not being funny now, just being a fag.

Re: Phil Jackson reach agreement with the Knicks

Wed Mar 26, 2014 10:32 pm

See my initial post about Dwight Howard when he was the topic?
It was about Dwight Howard and how people forget what he did with the Magic so that's why what he did to the Lakers wasn't really surprising or a shocker.

Now see the post after it, that instead of focusing on the discussion about Dwight or moving on with a new topic for the discussion would rather focus on the poster of the previous post and throw a hissy fit about bitching and trolling just because he didn't comprehend the post.
Also, for someone who's open to discussion how he doesn't want anyone from butting in unless I dumb down the way I post.

It's not my obligation to water down my post same way it's not anyone's to comprehend it.
Nothing wrong with ignoring the post and moving on if you don't like it or if you don't understand it rather than being mad, starting to bash, and bringing up the self-prosecution when the bashing is given back.

If you think my initial post about Dwight was an insult then you're just being soft and should stop being fags where you think and imagine everything to be a personal attack when you can't comprehend a post or it's against your opinion, when you can ignore it instead of being mad just because the post doesn't fit your ideal comprehension of what a discussion should be.

Re: Phil Jackson reach agreement with the Knicks

Didn't quite read the whole conversation, which I admit was a mistake.

If you think my initial post about Dwight was an insult

I don't. I too agreed Dwight was a bitch.

then you're just being soft and should stop being fags

I don't consider myself soft, but hey fags are the new aliens of TV !

where you think and imagine everything to be a personal attack

I really don't.

when you can't comprehend a post

Oh but I think I can.

or it's against your opinion,

That's why we can discuss it. And no I'm not being a smartass.

when you can ignore it instead of being mad just because the

Not mad. Didn't think you'd take the fag thing seriously. You were supposed to be te one with the sense of humour. Fag.

post doesn't fit your ideal comprehension of what a discussion should be.

Again, I didn't read the whole conversation which was a mistake. Jumped right into the discussion.

Good read anyways, proceed.

Re: Phil Jackson reach agreement with the Knicks

Thu Mar 27, 2014 1:46 am

Not mad, used it the same way you did, to exaggerate a point.

It's related to my point, if someone can use the word fag against me and then I use it back to them I'm the one that's considered mad and a dick? Well that's some double standard.

Nothing wrong with playing around with insults in a discussion but if a person can't handle it then that person shouldn't participate with the insults and cry foul when it's used against them like some people tend to cry about.

mandich wrote:That's why we can discuss it. And no I'm not being a smartass.

I know and there should be more of it, discussions with contrasting opinions, because if we all just agree with each other then what's the point of having a discussion if we all just end up jerking each other off as we all scream YES YES YES in a symphony of agreement.

That statement you quoted from me anyway is more for people who keep on imagining things that it's personal attack against them when an opposing opinion is presented instead of focusing on the discussion itself like they like to preach.

Now if you'll excuse me I need to go back farming FIFA14 UT before that jumbo gold pack expires in a couple of hours.

Some people are more sensitive than others. Plain and simple.

Well honestly there are two options in that scenario. You can either ignore them and accept the fact not everyone is on the same frequency as you (that works vice versa, demands respect and is fair, but boring), or you can engage in a meaningless argument trying to prove your point(whatever it might be), where the person you are arguing with will ALSO try to prove a point as well (Doesn't matter how stupid you think it is, doesn't matter what way he presents it). I know You(Me, anybody) think it's stupid. Don't worry, that person feels the same way about you and your statements. You will then proceed to irritate yourself with this pathetic (from both sides) argument which will result in nothing, but the both of you looking like idiots at the end.

99% of the poeple will pick No.2.

Why?

Because it's fun. It offers you an illusional opportunity, a challenge to your mind to prove how smart and collected you have become over the years, how you can read and prove facts, how you CAN PROVE THE OTHER PERSON WRONG. That is almost never going to happen. Why ? Because this is space mexico, anarchy. Nobody gives a shit. It's the internet.

And then there are nice people. They will bore you until you rip your eyes out and die.
