CHARLOTTE HORNETS ARE BACK!

I'm guessing they're both keeping all of their old records and whatnot. I assume the renamed Bobcats will simply be treated like a new Charlotte Hornets team, similar to the way that the current Denver Nuggets have no official lineage to the Denver Nuggets that played in the NBL and NBA from 1948-1950.

well, they don't really have much going for them except maybe a hornets central division title (not sure if they won one)
and a bobcats playoff appearance. I think the hornets retired Bobby Phills' #13 so maybe they will take that back to Charlotte so there won't be a hornets jersey hanging in the pelicans' stadium

I'm loving the logos. I think the smirking hornet logo is a great shoutout to the old Hornets logo (yeah the old one isn't smirking though) but I love the rest of the logos. Especially this one:



So hopefully the uniforms look good. And I hope there's no honeycomb gold alternate sleeved jersey because I definitely see that coming.

Digging the old-school collars. Teal should be maintained away not alternate. No pinstripes.

I like it. It's clean. It's definitely better than that of the Suns.

What I don't like is how the numbers are colored differently from the wordmark logos. I would also have preferred the teal as an away jersey.

I also don't like that the NBA logo is now at the back of the jersey, on top of the players' names. It would mean that the jersey ads will take its place. Now if that's the case: Where would the Finals logo be on the jerseys?

I also am not a fan of moving the logo to the back, but at least it curbs the recent trend of unnecessarily putting a logo there just for the sake of putting one there.

They look really good. Charlotte got the Bobcats stink off them at least aesthetically.

The NBA logo on top of the players names seems to be off. Nice jerseys for the Hornets anticipating it will have a pinstripe but nice design to move forward from the Bobcats.

Yes, yes, yes, or on the purple and change the text color. It just seems so weird seeing all three jerseys next to each other but the color on the numbers repeats.
