Very far?

NBA: 23 feet 9 inches (7.24 m)
FIBA: 22.1 ft (6.75 m)

It's not THAT huge of a difference.

T-Mav's 13 was very impressive, but a bit hard to get too impressed when the game stops & starts constantly & 35 seconds lasts for 10 minutes. I think the most impressive thing about that end of game was the Spurs didn't choke on their free throws, they were making nearly all of them, but T-Mac kept hitting.

I agree Andrew that there are other statistical feats that I find more impressive than Kobe's 81. Quadruple doubles are great. I liked Love's 30/30 as well :P But hey, it's all personal perspective.

I'm not. Maybe you are for limiting and giving away inferior options. Give me a reason why only those two you gave are worthy of a mention or discussion and not others?

It's not like it's a difference of ten feet or anything, but it's still about half a metre, making it around two steps closer. That's still a significant difference.

Well I know, half a metre closer to the basket means a lot. This is something the NBA experienced when experimenting with 3 point range. It's just when some of the guys talk about the range difference it sounds like 30 feet to 15 feet difference.
Actually FIBA three point range is even closer to NBA standards than NCAA three point range at 20 feet 9 inches (6.32 m)...

Kobe - Scored 81 against a weak Toronto Raptors.

Tracy - Scored 13 in 35 secs against a powerful San Antonio Spurs.

Reggie Miller is better. Today in NBA, no one can repeat this performance. Even they can't repeat against Bobcats. BOBCATS!

the basketball was way better in 90's. :(

A lot of thought was certainly put into that 3 week delayed important response. Good for you.
