Wow, check out Bynum's ridiculous efficiency in game 2: 12/20 FG, 3/4 FT, 0 turnovers... ZERO! Good for 29, 9 and 2. He is dominating this series so far.

Nuggets lead by 16 at the half.

I'm so glad Denver won that one. Sit would have let me have it if they blew that half-time lead.
Awesome game by McGee. Hopefully he can take that into game 4 as well.

Frustrating Night for Kobe. 5 TOs ... 7/23 from the field ... and this team .. should hire a three-pt specialist this summer ... Gasol was pretty inactive though.

What a stupid thing to say.

Did you even watch the game? How was Gasol inactive? He had 16 points, 4 blocks, 3 assists & 7 boards.
He was a lot more active than Bynum in the first half.
No wonder I avoid the Lakers thread like the plague.

Great win for the Nuggets, they cooled off a bit after that impressive first quarter but they hung tough. McGee was pretty impressive, he had a couple of boneheaded plays where he tried to do too much but he also made some pretty nifty moves when he scored on those little scoop shots. He should be starting and getting the lion's share of the minutes at centre the rest of the way.

Did Kobe just pass in a late situation? The world will end in December.

It was like Jordan to Paxton ... Too bad when LeBron does that he's unlucky because his teammates can't make the shot.
Great dunk by Pau!

I miss Andre Miller.

looks like my Lakers in 5 were wrong, great effort by Denver to give LA a real series
Thu May 10, 2012 3:28 pm
I hope the Lakers can make the traditional game 6 kill ... if they do they will have MWP back in the 2nd round. ...
Thu May 10, 2012 4:29 pm
Cool. MWP back for the next series game 1. This will be very interesting. Harden vs MWP first game since the incident. For a basketball fan, this is a nice treat.

it would probably be like a wrestling pay-per-view
Fri May 11, 2012 8:30 am
Just heard on Mike Francesca's show that Denver's Chris 'Birdman' Anderson is the target of a child porn investigation - WTF?
Fri May 11, 2012 11:59 am
Yes. The Nuggets association don't give comments about the situation per association policy.

This is dangerous for the Lakers as World Peace can come back for the game 7. It's not easy for the team to play well with a guy who's been out for awhile, especially in the middle of the series. I don't think it's unlikely but upset might be on the way.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the Nuggets win game 7. George Karl has the Lakers figured out.
You'd give the Lakers the edge because of home court but it really could go either way. Should be a great game to watch. I hope the Nuggets win just to stick up Melo's ass.

Looks like benji got it right again. Good thing I never went thru my plan of challenging him to a bet for TF2 hats.

I actually predicted Lakers in 5, but I'll be more than happy to have 100% of that prediction wrong. Definitely rooting for the Nuggets to take Game 7.

WTF just happened to the Lakers? It's just annoying for them to lose a 3-1 series lead. Seems like 2006 is returning.
Sun May 13, 2012 3:29 pm
The game 7 was much more exciting than what the scoreboard tells you. The Lakers' defense in the end prevailed. Great team effort. Surprised that Kobe also looked for the teammates(especially after outburst on teammates) in this game, even on the occassions where he would normally put the ball on the floor and force a shot. Particularly, Gasol and Blake were able to get into a rhythm from early on. As for Bynum, he was an usual force downlow but missed a lot of tip ins.

Great game ... finally Gasol played like a LAKER ... not like a BOBCAT which by the way has no reason to play well ...

The better team gutted it out when it mattered most, though the Nuggets sure gave them a scare for a little while there. The final eight minutes or so of the game definitely highlight the importance of rebounding, though. Gotta hand it to the Nuggets for making it a series and almost pulling off the upset. As for the Lakers, the Thunder await.
