Hell no, as a Lakers fan myself, i gots to call BS on this one. Really, compare Kobe's age when that airballing thing happened vs Magic's age? MAgic was a 6'9 point GUARD, who had incredible instincts for the game. On the other hand, Kobe was an athletic prospect whose learning curve was a little slower due to how RAW he was.
I love my man Magic, but really, i say they were at least on the same level during their primes. Different roles, but they were equally effective at things they did best. For Magic - playmaking, Kobe - scoring, with Kobe a bit more of a defender while Magic posted better overall offensive numbers
