The instant you see Noah's hairstyle you immediately see his face, only a sick person like z02 would associate that mug with a vagin.

Bosh was really weird after 2008-09 season if you ask me. How he couldn't lift a team that has Turkoglu, DeRozan, Calderon and Bargnani? Or consider 2008-09 season. There was a Shawn Marion, Jose Calderon, Andrea Bargnani, Jamario Moon at team and he confused me again with not lifting the team to playoffs.
Joakim Noah had a big injury last year. He is a weird guy too because of his hairstyle and shouting. He gets rebounds and he is not a leader, because he played with Kirk Hinrich, Ben Gordon, Derrick Rose and Carlos Boozer. So he is not a star like Chris Bosh.
So, Chris Bosh is a better man from Noah at offense and scoring, but Joakim Noah wins at defense and rebounds.

I read this part and was like WTF, but then I noticed Badger wrote this.

After I read "Bosh came me" I immediately closed the page. I should consider you to take some grammar classes or something.

Slovenians lost Bostjan Nachbar. Stars dropping out one by one.

No Bostjan Nachbar? There goes the hope of a nation.

France looks pretty intriguing if they were healthy. Parker-Pietrus-Batum-Diaw-Noah is a well balanced team without a doubt.

Mickael Pietrus isn't playing, and let's hope Noah won't be playing for long. Then France will be more manageable to teams like Spain, Turkey, Serbia, Greece and Lithuania.

Croatia just lost Radosevic, Pilecic, and, more importantly, Roko Ukic.

Sounds like very important personnels for Crotia. What do they do for living?

Reading. It is good for the self.
The amount of posts isn't even that much in this thread yet. Won't even need 5 minutes tops to read all the posts here.

I think there isn't much to discuss unless EuroBasket starts

I was referring to the lack of reading in this thread from some posters. A case could be made for the entire forum for that matter.

It seems we only read if it's about the legend that is Kobe Bryant or the greatness that is Joel Anthony.

Question: Why is it that Israel is playing on EuroBasket?

Ukic was the starting PG for Croatia in 2010 World Championship. He, Marko Popovic and Bojan Bogdanovic are basically the ones that are keeping Croatia playing in prestigious tournaments. So yeah, they just lost one of their leaders.

They defeated European Division B teams and went to Division A. Although they aren't that strong, this year's Eurobasket extended the amount of teams that will be playing. Instead of the usual 16 teams, there are now 24 teams. So few weaker teams will be playing. They won't get far in the tournament though. They've only got Omri Casspi, Lior Eliyahu and few others.

Pietrus is not healthy which is why he failed the physical. I totally know that but still, they are pretty good no doubt.

@x-uNdErRaTeD-z, yeah, France is one of the favorites if Noah plays.
Check out Eurobasket 2011 official song. IT'S AWESOME. I really love it. It should be a hit across Europe.

Hosts Lithuania lost to Slovenia 70:72 in a friendly match

.
But they defeated Czech Republic 94:73

. Center Valanciunas had 26 points and 9 rebounds, and veteran PG Sarunas Jasikevicius still got game - 11 points and 7 assists.

Latvia has a really strong group and 8-9 of our best players won't play for the national side this year, including Biedrins, who has an "injury". So I'm not high on our team, but I hope we play some good games and maybe take a win or two home (Israel and Italy are beatable if we get lucky)

If Roddy B was there they'd be better

I don't think they can win against Italy - they have Bargnani, Bellinelli and Gallinari - they're going to be tough this year. Israel and Germany are both beatable

. Germany lost to Finland without Nowitzki. Nowitzki won't save Germany this time - he's tired from the NBA Finals. So there's still chance for Latvia to qualify 4th place.

We won Italy last year with an even weaker roster than we have this year and they haven't had much success in recent years, so I think we can beat them if we get lucky. As for Germany - we don't have anyone, who could even dream of guarding Nowitzki, so I think he'll be beasting against us and Germany will take the win. And I'm not high on us qualifying for the next round, I'll be happy if we grab at least one win, because we have such a young team (average age - 23,4 years) and, as I said, many of our best players won't play this year.

Russia almost beat the crap out of Lithuania at a friendly match today - 76:91.
Lithuania's gamestyle today could be compared to their gamestyle during Eurobasket '09 - slow, lethargic, full of silly blunders. 3PT shooting was a ferocious 25%, 20 turnovers, 2 steals (compared to 12 by Russia). If they continue playing like they did today, they can forget about moving past the preliminary round.

Lithuania sucked against Spain (they lost 78:90). So many f***ing mistakes and fouls. Ibaka is a real d*ck; I saw him manhandling Valanciunas without a foul. At least as he tries to block Valanciunas he gets called for fouls. He can't stop our Valanciunas. (I was just venting my feelings here).
Spain utilized their stringent defense in the 1st quarter, forcing turnovers, though Lithuania could find few open shots. Lithuania's defense pretty much sucked in the 1st quarter, and got much better during the second quarter, when they managed to make a comeback and cut the difference to a few points. But after halftime, their defense again exacerbated - there were countless mistakes defensively, hence the many (9) fouls during the third quarter. Lithuania's offense was pretty good, with the exception of passes, some of which directly went to Spanish hands.
Spain's offensive game was pretty good, though they missed some wide-open shots. Usually they're merciless when left wide-open; maybe they were just having an off-day. Their defense was decent throughout the game. But this was just a friendly competition; both teams need to work on a lot of things before EuroBasket starts.
Anyone else is welcome to comment on their national team's matches.
