A young Charles Barkley would be good at any position as well.

just thinking now, I think Toni Kukoc could just about do it... there were times when he did play centre for the Bulls, I remember a stretch during one chapionship season where he started a game or a few games filling in for Luc Longley, my memory's a little hazy though. He also racked up good assist totals in a lot of games, he is a pretty good passer and we all know good shooter.

I suppose you have to look at the criterea of what a guy would have to be able to do in order to play all 5 positions, and it also depends on whether he is an offensively or defensively oriented player.
I would say the ideal height would be around 6'10, minimum 6'9, and between 230 and 240 pounds, enough for good size down low, and descent mobility out on the perimeter. That's probably why Magic fits the bill so well, he is the ultimate size, and has enough skill to go 1 through to 5... although if Magic can be a 5, then so can Antoine "any shot is a good shot" Walker.

yeah, young charles barkley could, he's listed at 6'6, but is more likely closer to 6'4. but how do you define centre? does he have to be a certain height, etc.? i guess grant hill and scottie could do it too if they can be consider 'undersized' centres, their are plenty those nowadays.

come to think of it, kukoc could also play in the 2-spot.. questionable at the 1, but he can definately do it at the 2.
