Yeah, nobody other than Miller (obviously) is within seven or eight hundred of the record. Stojakovic and Kidd will never even get close as they are both nearly done for their careers. Plus, Ray Ray will probably play a few more years in the league. I hope he stays until he's 40.Axel. wrote:That record oughta stand for a loooong time.

Despite the fact that Chamberlain was regularly double- and triple-teamed on offense and was relied upon so heavily on defense, he never once fouled out of a game in his 14 years in the NBA. In at least one game, he accumulated five fouls during the fourth quarter, and the game went into overtime, but still he did not foul out. (Six fouls is the personal limit.)
Not really. The X wrote:In regards to Wilt, you have to remember he played the game to set records. That was his thing.
Might have more to do with the teams early in his career depended on him quite heavily that with him being out the offense or rebounding would suffer significantly.I read in Bill Simmons Book of Basketball that he would stop going for blocks & do whatever he had to so he wouldn't foul out

He once said in an interview that if he knew people/media would make a big deal out of it a few years later after his career is over, he would have padded his stats. I think that was in regard to Kareem breaking his record for most points. Of course he could be saying BS but the man really was dominant. Bill Russell acknowledges it, so does Kareem and countless other bigs he faced.

Wha? Would you be more surprised if you learned that Ray can also dunk on fools during his Bucks-early Sonics days?
