Investors Have Deal With Team To Play In Vegas

I know, but I assume some players in the NBA gamble Allen Iverson.

They would probably just stay the "Las Vegas Kings".

If the name is good enough or well-established, there's no real need to change it unless you've got a Seattle Supersonics/Cleveland Browns situation where the city retains ownership of the name, colours and records in the move. Kings would certainly fit Vegas, but then it's one of those names for a sports team that pretty much fits anywhere.

Are there any Kings fans here to say what's on their minds about a potential move to Vegas?

My best friend is a Kings fan, I assume he will be extremely sad to see his team change locations after all these years he has been following them.

I hope it's a new team, maybe this way Seattle will get their Sonics back.

IF it's going to be a new franchise, than most chances they will add two teams to the league, to make East and West with equal teams.

I have also read in a article that Seattle and Las Vegas are top 2 for getting a NBA team in the future.

BTW Lamrock, do you know what's the situation with the arena at Seattle right now?

No new arena plans at this point. Stuck with the same old sub-standard Key Arena. While the way the Sonics were taken was turrible, it was probably going to happen sooner or later. Most Seattle-lites didn't go to the games, and didn't want taxpayer dollars going to a new arena. Seattle's a better city than Oklahoma City, but OKC kinda deserved the team more.

With that and our lame new mayor, I don't see a Seattle team in the next five years (should the NBA even be around by then or the world (2012))

Las Vegas gamblers or sinners would make a great name.

It should be fun to see how more and faster the players go bankrupt than usual, if this ever happens.

As for Seattle, it's just too bad. Even Mariners are sucking big time. No break for that city.
