That was Atlanta on the road in the play-offs. They actually lost by less than they usually do.
Well I wont make such a big deal out of this lost but honestly they shouldve swept them in 4.

No way in hell that's happening now.

There goes my prediction. In Atlanta's defense though, Delfino had been shooting woefully in the series up until this point. Had he not stepped up in Game 4, the Hawks could be heading home up 3-1.

Hawks probably got this still, but I'm definitely rooting for Milwaukee to pull off the upset. Jennings ending his 50 game streak of 2-9 shooting performances has really helped Milwaukee get back in this thing.

2/9
Yeah, I've seen many of that figures from Jennings during the regular season, so his productions in playoffs sure have been surprising. This kid actually elevated his game to the next level IN the playoffs. That is impressive.
But then Bogut's out so being the first/second option might have helped him finding rhythm in offense against a weak defender like Bibby.

I'm sure Crawford will put in a big game five after he gets his sixth man award later today.

The deer is a complete douchebag.
Why the hate on Al Horford or is the Bucks too cheap to buy more than one jersey?
Thu Apr 29, 2010 12:35 pm
Ersan and Salmons dominated as the Bucks took a late 15-0 run. Unbelievable choke job by the Hawks at home. God this Bucks team has heart. No reason why they should be winning this game or this series, and yet...
Unbelievable to think the Bucks will probably make the second round without their best player (and with less than 6% of the NLSC vote).
Thu Apr 29, 2010 12:51 pm
Josh Dork Smith likes to try and be the hero. Why did he pull up for that three?
Thu Apr 29, 2010 12:59 pm
Wow, that's just embarrassing for the Hawks. I guess you can't rule out a victory in seven games but they appear poised to choke it away in six.
Thu Apr 29, 2010 1:01 pm
Damn if the Bucks win this series then Orlando will have another easy match
Thu Apr 29, 2010 1:02 pm
Yeah, I almost counted out the Bucks when Atlanta retook that nine point lead, but then the Bucks just went on an insane run. Not counting ATL out, since they are technically the better team, but it doesn't look good for those "contenders".

That's the downside of upsets. It causes a bit of excitement as an underdog topples a superior opponent, but unless the underdog keeps overachieving the following rounds may turn out to be less competitive and exciting than one would hope.

Yeah Im afraid youre right. We are terrible on the road. These rookies nowadays. I have to take my hat off to Jennings. I knew he could carry a team but not like this. This guy is probably changing a lot of people's minds of who should be ROY.

I remember Bogut seemed to have a reasonable timetable when he went down, but he looks nowhere close to being ready right now. I remember how the 2007 playoffs went to shit after the Warriors/Mavs series, but against ATL or Milwaukee, I would take the Magic in 5. They decimate anyone in the East not named the Cavaliers in a 7 game series.

Yeah, there's a lot of idiots out there.

Do you think Milwaukee will close out the Hawks, Ben?
Thu Apr 29, 2010 2:37 pm
Ersan Ilyasova was awesome in the fourth quarter. Some huge offensive rebounds late late in the game.

The way that the Hawks are playing, Orlando would have an easy match-up even if Atlanta did get up and win it.

I expected the Hawks to dominate the series, but on the verge of elimination?

2 of their best players injured, very undermanned, Salmons(or Jennings) being the best option on offense, and look at the front court. The Bucks are a terrible team at least roster wise. It's just inexcusable for the Hawks to struggle like this, whether they win 2 remaining games or not. Orlando should be really happy seeing this series going this way.

Pretty pathetic effort so far.

Atlanta stays alive, but as already stated whoever wins this series appears to be easy pickings for the Magic.
