The Knicks need Milos Vujanic but they saying that his agent is advising the guy to stay in Europe, I guess you dont put blame on Layden here.

The guy already re-signed overthere so there's no hope to wait til that contract is finished. Knicks were looking forward to getting him but they are not going to keep waiting, they will get someone else if not they will keep Ward.

What!!!

he is a good veteran player who plays tough defence and is a decent 3 point shooter, he averaged 7.2 points and 4.6apg + he was up there with the leagues best for assists per turnover with 3.22apt while playing 22.2mpg

not bad for a 33 year old back up pg....

Ward has been involved in some trade talks in the past but he is a good backup.

MP3, don't pay a lot of atte. to Jason Kidd's comments, I would love to know if the back up guard of "his team" has a better one. Sometimes bla bla is not enough to make a real statement.

For your information J.Kidd we are talking about a player ranked 7 among over 350 players in the NBA in assists per turnover. As someone stated No Minutes is a big fact. I agree we are not talking about someone like the player you hate most (J. Kidd) but knowing the guy average per 48 mins (in other words a whole game) are as follow:

5.8 Rebs per game
10 Assists per game
2.6 Stls per game
15.5 Pts per game

I wouldn't call him a bad player at all, knowing those are solid numbers for any starter.

yeah but, ward is so bad player-he is not in starting five-never.

Tue Jul 08, 2003 5:08 am

Starting 5, every team needs one player in each position to get to the game, if he was a Center he for sure would be starting but being a PG and the team having a PG who fits better the needs, that's the only reason why Ward is coming from the Bench, not that he's a bad player.

Ward would be starting in many other teams and teams need guys coming from the bench to give the kind of play Ward does, that's the only reason why Ward is there. Now you would say Kucok is a not a good player cause he comes from the bench?, Or Ginobili. I would understand those guys are not all-stars but saying they are bad, you are the only one who have the opinion that anyone who comes from the bench is because they are bad players.

oh i dont , ive only been back here about a week but ive already learnt that Jason Kidd talks shit.

Charlie Ward has been a starter for the Knicks in years past, and produced some solid numbers during his tenure in the starting five. He's been displaced by Howard Eisley, but he's still a decent player, as his per-48 minute averages suggest.

The Bulls:

Simple really, and it's already been said. Gotta get a perimeter swing man. One that could shoot the 3 wouldnt go astray either. Names are escaping me at the moment though. Maggette would be nice: very athletic backcourt partner for Crawford.

Also, don't resign Blount, Brunson or Hoiberg. That's probably gonna happen anyway.

My hopes:
That Eddy continues his rapid rise towards becoming a dominant Centre in the NBA,
That Tyson Chandler also continues his improvement.,
That Crawford will do what he's promised since he was drafted and get some great all-round numbers,
That Kirk Hinrich shows signs of becoming the next Steve Nash and most important
That Jay Williams' recovery will be speedy not just for the Bulls' sake but also for his own career.

Starting 5:
Tyson Chandler
Eddy Curry
Jalen Rose
FA Swingman (fingers crossed) / Trenton Hassell
Jamal Crawford
