The classic threads are only good because of the people who post in them. When you've got spammers posting in spam threads it goes nowhere.

Though differences do exist, I'd say there's a fair contribution. Both have established themselves as part of an elite class of basketball players, for sure, and both are largely considered the best to play the game in their respective decades. It's a loose comparison, but still somewhat legitimate.
