Brevin Knight - old.
Steph - allergic to playing defense, that's why he's warming the bench in Boston
Ramon Sessions - maybe, but Skiles likes his play to let him go. He can't let Ridnour run the point often.

In terms of talent - yes, in terms of attitude - no. Maybe using Head (as Houston did) more might work.

Luther Head as a back-up PG !? ( or SG coz Dwyane is the one whose doing the PG's job )
Maybe the Heat can improve Daequan Cook's ball handling and make him the back-up PG . . .

Head as a backup combo guard, not a pure PG he will never be. It worked well for Houston till this season, it might even better for Miami if Wade is the one he has to substitute or be on the court with him.

What about Cook !?
So less playing time for him !?
For me , I'd rather use Cook as a Combo Guard .
Heat lacks 3pt. shooters/shooting .
D-Wade playing PG on offense then guarding SG's on defense while Cook ( vice - versa )

there are some rumors about Kidd in Heat uniform next season for vet. minimum, but i strongly doubt it happens! as Spo desided to but Beasley at SF position, i think, it help team a LOT! so noone in heat headquarteer wants to trade Haslem or JO (haslem will be a role players as long as he can, but if Beasley would struggle at SF, i think haslem is in danger of being traded for a solid SF); JO plays solid basketball and he is a biggest check for us for the 2010 FA market, so he is almost untouchable!
i see this moves happens in the 2009 off season:
1. sing, or trade for a back up PF
2. as long as Beezy at sf, someone from this "big 4" should go away: Moon, Jones, Wright, Diawara
3. maybe signing veteran pg for vet min
4*. if beezy would struggle at sf -> move him at PF -> trade Haslem for a all-star calibre SF like Josh Howard or smth!
only god can judge me

Udonis Haslem for Josh Howard !?
That's imposibble Puffy , Mark Cuban won't trade Josh Howard for anyone .
The Heat had some interest on Josh Howard in early February .
this was the Heat's offer : Josh Howard & Jerry Stackhouse for Shawn Marion & Dorrell Wright .
But he didn't agree .
Now #2 : Udonis Haslem for Josh Smith !?
Impossible trade to happen unless Beasley is in the mix . Josh Smith is the Hawks' Future so why trade him for a PF that don't score , don't rebound and don't block !?

 Haha . . . Like it's gonna happen . . .
Might as well trade Dorrell Wright and Yakhouba Diawara for someone like Nzr Mohammed or Desagana Diop , then move Jermaine at Pf then make Haslem come off the bench .
5 - Diop/Mohammed
4 - Jermaine
3 - Beasley
2 - Wade
1 - Chalmers
6 - Haslem
7 - Cook
8 - Head

They won't trade Wright for someone like Diop or Mohammed. He's still young and talented.
And if someone is going to get Amare, it's Cleveland (hopefully  ) or Chicago (more likely :| ).

I don't know about that, Chicago's not going to be in a position to offer Amare the big bucks.

I'm not talking about offering big bucks. Rumors were that Chicago is planning to get Amare for a package of players, and Tyrus Thomas was one of them. Thomas appearantly isn't a part of Bulls long-term plans. He's similar to Marion, so Phoenix is interested as well. Of course, that's likely to happen only if Suns decide to give away Amare. That's completely irrational, but considering their standings, age of their veterans and Amare's injuries, it may be a good deal even for them.

Those rumours came and went around the trade deadline, unless they've started up again. I personally wouldn't bet on it until there's something a bit more concrete out there.

I'm not saying it's going to happen. That depends on his recovery from eye injury. But if Suns decide to let Amare go, Chicago is the most possible target. Personally I don't know how many patience Suns have after this year's failure. They might do the same thing as Detroit, only in this case they would be able to get more in return.

If they're planning to move Beasley at Sf , Dorrell Wright is not needed there anymore . Moon is going to be their back-up Sf if that's gonna happen . Diop or Mohammed is a good fit in Miami , they are both good low-post defenders and great rebounders .
About that Amar'e Rumour to Chicago !? That rumour lurked last February ( before the trading deadline ) . It's not going to happen .

How about this rumour :
Shaq to Dallas !? I forgot what blogsite I read that rumour but it sounds true .
Shaq said he'll sign with Dallas if . . . Kidd will re-sign back .
Do you think he's a good fit !? For me yes !
Trade Dampier ! :cheeky:

Mark this:

The Grizz has the second pick. We can almost surely say that they will pick Ricky Rubio. So Mike Conley era is done in Memphis

Now, There was a rumor about Amare going to Memphis for Conley, Gay and Warrick. Now that Conley is more open to be traded, maybe this rumor can heat up.

Any opinions?

I would love to see Rubio in that package. I know it is almost impossible, but I would love to see him running a Phoenix like offense

There is no more Phoenix offense, D'Antoni is gone. Don't expect Alvin Gentry to last long as the head coach and keep the run and gun going.

The Heat already have Joel Anthony, no need for those two bums.

That rumour about Amare for Tyrus Thomas etc... Well, don't be so sure yet. If Suns move Amare (which is possible considering next offseason), they want to get something in return. They need a guy who has potential. It looks like Chicago and Grizzlies have more to offer. Chicago doesn't want Thomas (their prority is Gordon now), so it could happen.
Nothing has changed in Phoenix since trade deadline (well, except Amare's eye ''incident'') and they're still looking to trade everyone not named Steve Nash, so it's most probable option. About Memphis, I doubt that they'll give away 2nd overall draft pick and their best player at the same time. Could be the previous one (Conley, Gay, Warrick) though.

Then why Erik Spoelstra is not playing him !?

I don't know about it being the most likely, though if the Suns are still looking to trade Amare I'm sure they'd prefer to send him East. If there's a chance of it happening then I'm not exactly disappointed but these days I take any rumour about Chicago landing a quality big through a trade with a grain of salt.
