I can see Chicago make a deal with them involving Hinrich, seeing as they drafted Rose, or maybe Ben Gordon for Carter.

What don't you get?
They're in rebuilding mode as their Kidd, Carter, Jefferson experiment failed.

No you guys are wrong. The trade was great for both sides.
Milwaukee get 2 good guys, Joe Alexander(through draft) and Jefferson.
Nets get Yi and Simmons, right?
And then in the draft they get Brook Lopez and Chris Dougless Roberts.
And if watched Sports Center, the winners and losers of the draft were as listed below:

Winners:
New Jersey
Miami
Milwaukee
Chicago
New York
Minnasota
Portland

Losers:
Sealte- Got a horrible pick.
Memphis- Awful Trade for them.

If Minnasota selected Love, Seatle would have drafted Mayo but no they got a horrible PG who cannot score and his name is Russel Westbrook
Experts say he is just like Rajon Rondo. Rondo sucks.

Line Up for Nets and Milwaukee:

C-Brook Lopez
F-Yi Jianlian
F-Bobby Simmions(or a Free Agent or Chris Dougless Roberts)
G-Vince Carter
G-Devin Harris

C-Andrew Bogut
F-Charlie Villianova
F-Richard Jefferson
G-Michael Redd
G-Mo Williams

last few years, vc shown nothing, but seems to declining, and more and more looking like lost will to play for victory.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if the NETS and Bucks are fighting for the 8th and final spot toward the end of next year.

Yeah, because averaging 10-4-6 on a championship run while being basically pegged as one of the last options on the floor is clearly bad.

I suppose he could be beneficial to the Bulls if he can bring some explosive scoring to the table but aside from that the idea doesn't really appeal to me. I do think Hinrich is on his way out though.

vc is on his way down for sure but he still gives you a big guard capable of scoring big numbers.... also it allows ben gordon to move to the 6th man where he thrives and gives the other team fits.

When he's motivated.

Just realised I forgot to comment on the actual topic. Honestly, I'm surprised to see the Bucks give away Yi after jumping through hoops to get him on the team in the first place.

I doubt it. If they were that adamant that Yi wouldn't play in Milwaukee under any circumstances, the Bucks would probably still be negotiating with them to bring him on board right now.

Yeah, I'm with Andrew on this one. It's much more likely that the Bucks realized that Yi is actually not a very good basketball player in the NBA after a year and realized that didn't think twice when they were offered (or their offer went through) Jefferson than a Chinese government conspiracy.

It's funny to think how much trouble they went through just to get him though, for them to just turn around and decide to go in a different direction after just one year. That story just got stranger and stranger last year. By the time it got to the point where there were concerns that Yi wouldn't be able to find a "suitable girlfriend" in Milwaukee it was just ridiculous.

What interest do the Nets have in Hinrich? They're set at point guard for the future. They've got not only one good young floor general, but two. Both Devin Harris and Marcus Williams have tremendous upside.

None I assume. I can see Hinrich being traded this offseason but not to the Nets, for Vince Carter or anyone else.

Even though Fisher is on the downside of his career, the Lakers would be better off keeping him rather than acquiring Hinrich. He's got playoff savvy and seems content to just play his role. I don't know if Captain Kirk and Kobe in the backcourt together would work, at least any better than his pairing with Fisher.
