the nba suffered its lowest nba finals tv ratings last year thanks to the san antonio sweep..that's why david stern is hoping for a lakers-celtics series or i believe, any match up that will not include teams like utah or new orleans or even san antonio..its understandable, this is business..
yeah,the highest market..

i dont think new orleans would be the cause for low ratings, they are a young team and are very exciting to watch. now they wont be on the level of a celtics/lakers finals but they would still be a draw imo.
to be honest i dont think the low finals ratings is really the teams fault but more so the leagues fault. the league is allowing things to happen that make the fans sick to thier stomach. no one wants to see a flopathon anymore. they need to fix some of the stupid rules in the league. so far i am loving the celtic/cavs series because of the vast amount of no calls. last night pierce tried to jump into a defender who was in the air to get to the line. i see this play called all the time and it angers me to no end that the offensive player gets to the line when they cause the contact. well last night it was a no call and even though it was my team i was happy

the reason why a lot of teenagers like new orleans is because of chris paul..not because of his athletic abilities nor his passing..it is because paul is the nearest contender to the mvp race between kobe..and teenagers hates kobe..so they will go to the other one which is paul..new orleans can be compared to the sacramento kings team back in the shaq/kobe days..
don't blame the nba for the low ratings last year..come on..san antonio?..cleveland?..

back to the topic..
nice one for the jazz..even though carlos boozer have a "low tv rating" kind of shots, he still manage to sink all of these and made a series out of LA..

Not because of his athletic abilities, WTF are you smoking. Have you ever seen Paul play? That's one of the style kids try to emulate if they're not too in-love with their jumpers.
Your name suits you with every post you make.

Don't feed the trolls.
I'm not really a CP3 fan, but I know he is easily the top PG in the NBA. D-Will, Nash and Arenas are still my fave PG's. Honestly, I only like the Hornets because they are not the Spurs.
Rooting for Utah, though they won't win. However, if San Antonio comes back to beat the Hornets, then I'll want the Lakers, since they can actually beat San Antonio.

ah vintage Kobe. straight from 2002, Kobe tries to play hurt and be Jordan, but he messed up way too many times at the end of the 4th & OT. Lamar & Fisher were huge in the comeback.

I guess him winning MVP was trying to be like Jordan too

So you own the Lakers now? Nice.

Have a bit of respect for Kobe Bryant, can't you read his username? He means "my team" as in...he's a playa.
Don't be playa hating.

Most 1 sided game I have ever seen that was just horrible. The NBA is just a BS league that favors teams.

Nice win!

If you want to call having the NBA on your side success..... You probably didn't even watch the game so GTFO.
1.Harpring never touched Walton.
2.Harpring clearly out of the circle and planted in time yet no call.
3. Farmer gets breathed on and its an and 1.
4.AK strips the ball goes off Vujacic then some ref who is god knows where calls AK for a foul.
5.And 1 by Odom obvious BS
