Mavs to sign Eddie Jones

Some ppl underrate dirk cuz he's a shooting big man with less power moves. Just like most regular sg, he relies on shots & quick first step, so when heavily guarded, he can get inconsistent. That's what happened during the games he poorly performed and clearly it was the case versus warriors. But still it changes nothing about what he did as a leader of mavs. They made it to the finals in 06, and they almost made it to 70 wins this year. I am pretty sure, nobody was saying what they are saying about dirk back in Feb this year, when they were trying to reach Bull's 70 wins plateau. So whether or not, Dirk can take over last 5 minutes or not, he's the leader on a legit championship contending team. The fact still remains the same. They got the ingredients to go all the way. Just need to make it happen.

As you know, defense wins it all. That's been said and done in recent history of NBA playoffs. Sadly, Suns, Mavs kinds aren't the defense priorty teams, meaning they can be shut down on any given night if shooting doesn't fall. So it isn't really fair to lay all mistakes & faults on Dirk for not being able to beat warriors. It was just the warriors that played exceptionally well just against Dallas. I hardly doubt it will repeat next year.

Dont see him doing much with the Mavs but take away some of Devins playing time.

Which is always a plus, but at the same time I'm depressed that Ager won't be doing jack shit for yet another year. Maybe I'll trade for him in NBA Live and make him average 20 a game or something.

Kobe can dominate the last 5 minutes of a game, but if his teammates don't do a shit(IMO Shaq>Odom+Walton+Kwame+etc last 5 minutes of the game), and the other team makes baskets, he's not dominating much.

ok i was not even gonna reply to that cause i thought it was so dumb for several reasons. reasons such as, like you said, kobe can dominate, he dont go anywhere at the end of the game. secondly he asks me why we are talking about it when i was replying to hammertime who said dirk can dominate the last 5 minutes of a game.

Converse renamed both his threads to the following respectively:

The Dallas Mavericks' Hub
The Miami Heat Hub

Now I'll be fucked if I know what a hub is, which is why I threatened to do to him what I threatened to do. So you see, I didn't come up with the word hub, he did. His word. Not mine. His.

He changed the WHOLE title of the thread to [insert team here] hub. I threatened him in this thread and Cyanide called him a tool ( ) and told him not to call the threads "hub's" and then he said yes sir and just renamed them back to the original titles.

Then you asked what I meant and I explained it the best I could, but since you missed the whole hub naming part, you thought I was talking about a hub...but in fact he began with all the hub. Get it bub?

According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, this is the defintion of hub:

hub n 1 : the central part of a circular object (as a wheel) 2 : a centre of activity; esp : an airport or city with heavy air traffic

Not that I actually agree with changing it to "hub", but I guess he meant that it was the "centre of activity for Mavs and Heat fans".

Ahh, that makes more sense I guess. "Thread," imo, is the proper terminology. When I hear hub, I think of this:
