Phil just loves this kind of short guards :). I don't know why they didn't try to sign Jaric. Perhaps because he's still young and they're offering just a two year contracts.

I'm not really sure why they haven't gone for him either. I like Dickau though, someone told me he'd be really good when he was in college so I started following him there. If he went to the Lakers I would wear my DICKAU jersey proudly. Or maybe not, depends on whether I want to be beaten up or not.

Looksl ike the Wizrds, provided the Brown trade goes through, will be heavily stacked on the backcourt and seriously lacking inside. That kind of situation usually results in a trade, unless you're the Atlanta Hawks.

Jaric is 28, I believe. He came into the league late. But you were probbaly referring to his game being young.

People keep saying Ginobili is so young, but he's 28 too (well, soon). 28's not old, but not exactly young either.

Kobe and McGrady are only 26, Artest is 25 and Arenas is only 23!

I don't remember how old is he, but I was surprised when I heard Baron Davis' age.
He's very young if I remember correctly.

Like Andrew said, it doesn't make up for the loss of Hughes, but a good signing for the Wizards, nonetheless. The East is starting to look more and more exciting everyday :)

Too bad the Raptors are still wading in the bottom :(

Isn't Jaric a RFA? No way Clippers are going to give him to the Lakers.

If the Lakers - Wizards trade goes through Antonio Daniels will more than likely be on the bench.

And even if it doesn't go through I hope the Wizards can come up with something better than Antonio Daniels to replace Larry Hughes.

yes i agree- good signing. he can defend well either guard position, slash to basket, and an improving outside shot.

when daniels was healthy, he'd be playing in crunchtime instead of ridnour and surprisingly occasionally it was him that was hitting the clutch shots instead of ray allen
