Kobe will be at the All-Star Game and play as a Starter ALongside LeBron James who will play at Point Guard

The Cleveland Cavaliers will wear their Orange 1985 Jerseys against a Team this Season for no Reason whatsoever....

LeBron James will win the Dunk Competition

AND

I will get tickets for the Competition and the All Star Game

Fri Dec 12, 2003 12:34 pm

Karl Malone will be holding a championship trophy in June with Shaq by his side holding the MVP trophy. In the losing team's lockroom, Reggie Miller will bemoan another lost trip to the Finals.

Fri Dec 12, 2003 12:38 pm

Darko Milicic turns on the motor and finishes the season with 1.1ppg, 1.8rpg, 0.1apg, and 2.3topg..... maybe that's too much of an improvement from his current stats. It's a bold prediction, yes.

Orlando Magic double their productivity for the rest of the season, so that will be a record of..... 19-63! WOW!

Karl Malone and Gary Payton suffer season-ending injuries while going for a loose ball and both of them tripping over Shaq's big toe. Shaq's season also ends because of it. Bryant carries the team by himself and Lakers finish with a first-round exit in the playoffs...

Dallas Mavericks finally realize they have a pretty good group of pretty good shooters (plus a wrist-breaker) and average 235 points per game over the last twenty games of the season.

Mengke Bateer wins Most Improved Player, doubling his stats since last season in all major categories: 7.6mpg, 1.6ppg, 1.6rpg, 0.6apg

Chris Jefferies and Rick Brunson finally settle the feud on who is the more useless player by comparing how many Holiday Inn dishes they can wash in two minutes. In the end of a grueling and courageous battle, Brunson proves once and for all that he is less useless than Jefferies, having purified 17 dishes to Jefferies' 14.

Ok, following are some SERIOUS predictions...

-Toronto enters playoffs 3rd in the east
-Carmelo wins Rookie of the Year
-Houston gets past 1st round by upsetting either San Antonio or Minny (preferably San Antonio)
-Western finals between Lakers and Kings. The victor from this matchup will win the NBA Finals. It's pretty sad that the real series to determine the champion is actually only the Western Finals and the NBA Finals are just a few more games to play as a formality.

I thought this was about this season not about "ever"?

Seems this is obviously right under Ben as well.

Seems pretty inflammatory to me.

If you want to violate the second warning about ruining threads...attacking other members....inciting flames...and commit your third act of insubordination ...by all means go ahead, Mike. I'm looking right at you.

Fri Dec 12, 2003 1:43 pm

Another one...the Detroit Pistons will make the playoffs only because everyone else in the East is so bad...so frustrating to watch them play...so frustrating...

Carmelo better than Darko...pfft...I hope you were watching Pistons @ Cavs...Darko just took over that last minute...against Cavs starters none the less! He had every shot he wanted! He was being fed the ball by the Pistons because he is so totally sweet..."Tim Duncan who?" is what I say...just remember these words: 2004 NBA Finals MVP Darko Milicic...trust me you will see them come June...

When did that trade happen?

Fri Dec 12, 2003 1:59 pm

i'll say it again: bucks make the playoffs, and kukoc wins 6th man of the year and then retire.

Fri Dec 12, 2003 2:02 pm

Darko just took over that last minute
Lol in garbage time too! What a stella performance!

Fri Dec 12, 2003 2:15 pm

Grizz will make the playoffs!
James Posey will be on one of the ALL DEFENSIVE TEAMS
Bonzi Wells will 6th man
Spurs will lose in the 1st round of the playoffs

Ruining a thread is someone takes an attack on someone's else's soft spot or their draft pick and goes completely off the topic by predicting something that is outside the season, which the thread was about.

I am not attacking anyone, I am speaking about the thread subject, which again I mention has nothing to do with Carmelo Anthony ever being a better player than Darko Milicic. If you would have said he'll have a better rookie season, that's something else, it's not much of a prediction though.

Let's see here...armchair moderating...attacking me... attempting to incite a flame between me, you and Ben...doing so by arguing with a thread starter about the subject of his own thread...disrespecting a forum leader again... insubordination again...and messing up another fun thread with your attitude problem. Keep going...I'm just collecting evidence...

aherm... *cough*... damn scratchy throat! So how's the weather people?

I predict that Allen Iverson is going to end the season shooting 40+%

I probably(no surely actually)shouldn't interfere with this, but i aint posting much lately but i decided to give my opinion on this, EG, i supported ur being a mod since the beginning(not that u noticed, but im just sayin i thought it to be a good decision)but it's as simple as this, GROW UP(for cryin' out loud)! U are constantly picking at paul, and i mean constantly, and sayin' u collecting evidence but honestly speaking, u just cant take shit right now(im sorry i could put it more polite), paul just has his opinions, but they are always well-founded, if they do not are the same as yours or the majority in here, that's of no importance, he has the right to think and say what he wants, that's what makes the forum interesting!
And everyone of us sometimes replies with some sarcasm or even some provoking(like u are doing in your last post tellin him u are watching him), i dont care if u like him or not but you are not being fair here.
And no it's my job to tell u this but honestly im tired of it and just wanted to give my opinion, no hard feelings to you personally though(just on this case against paul, i think he is a decent poster who makes the forum interesting).

Though I agree with Mike there that "ever" is impossible to be held to at the end of the year...

Obviously Darko Milicic is so awesome...the Pistons are just luring everyone into a false sense of security...they have so much confidence in him that if you take his performance last night and prorate it to 36 minutes (average for a starter) he would've been fed the ball 72 times! Even Shaq isn't fed the ball that much! Wilt Chamberlain only took 66 shots in his 100 point game!

Now, if we take into account the law of averages, Darko would eventually hit 36 of those 72 shots...and he would also be going to the line...so...Darko would break Wilt's 100 game scoring record!

Sure, Larry Brown was supposed to have wanted Carmelo Anthony...but he also thought Jared Jeffries was the best player out of last years draft, so we know how good his scouting is...obviously more evidence that Darko Milicic is currently the greatest player in the history of the sport...especially if we dispose of those silly things called "reality" and "facts."

LMAO!

This year (despite being Dallas Being my favorite team) and Dispite Dirk Nowitzki's nagging knee injury, The Dallas Mavericks will go to the playoffs, and get to the Championship against the LA Lakers. But Desipte A Great season the Lakers will loose to the Mavericks in 6 Games

6th Man
Antwan Jamison- DAL
or...
Antwan Walker- DAL

Playoff MVP-
Steve Nash- DAL

RotY-
Carmello Anthony

And Believe it or not, Kobe Did Not Do It.
oh and...

The Kobe bryant court WILL indeed effect Kobes playing by clouding up his mind with memories, and wont have a great season like everyone thinks

David Stern plays a prank on All-Star Saturday and calls up slow motion Mutombo to compete with the finalist of the slam dunk contest.

Mutombo proves he is indeed the slowest in the NBA by taking exactly 24 mins to make his way to the end of the opposing basket to prepare for his DR J dunk.. as he makes his way towards the half court line, he is stopped since they had no more time so the other finalist are forced to forfeit to avoid a diasterious all-star weekend.

Then Mutombo embraces the slam dunk trophy in the midcourt ( similar to his Nugget win over the Sonics ) < can't u guys picture that perfectly?

Prediction 1: Following the Kobe-Money Grubbing White Bitch trial and assuming Kobe is acquitted, I predict a scoring explosion from number 8, that surgically repaired knee to start feeling like new, and for us to see some of the kinds of dunks he amazed me(atleast) with last year.

Prediction 2: After the Boston-Cavs game it seems LeBron has found out how to get to the line. I see his scoring increasing and if he doesn't get voted into the All-Star game he won't go.

Prediction  3: Lakers get pushed by Kings, ultimately win Championship. But a more riskier prediction: Karl gets Finals MVP.

And Tony Parker comes out of the closet. You ain't fooling me, Frenchy.
