Ainge should've gave what the Bulls was asking for Butler. Convincing Durant to jump ship will be easier with Horford and Butler on board...
Tue Jul 05, 2016 1:29 am
There some buzz going around that the Warriors has got Durant but no word for definite just yet.
Tue Jul 05, 2016 1:44 am
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK
KD TO GSW
JESUS CHRIST SCREW THIS. IM OUT.
Tue Jul 05, 2016 1:46 am
The NBA is done.
Tue Jul 05, 2016 1:52 am
The gloating from Warriors fans on Twitter is a sight to behold. I guess a lot of them are forgetting how they were laughing at him and calling him a choker after the Western Conference Finals.
Tue Jul 05, 2016 1:59 am
So we can pretty much go and add Barnes to the Mavs now.
No more Mark Cuban crying Jordan faces in Dallas
Tue Jul 05, 2016 2:01 am
I really don't know how Westbrook will take that? Will we see another KG-Ray Allen relationship? Is now Ibaka's trade worth given it was done with the idea KD was staying?
Tue Jul 05, 2016 2:08 am
RIP NBA

I guess that proves what a lot of people had been saying all along. Durant is mentally weak. Has to join a team that is already record-breaking to win a ring.

Hypocrite.
Tue Jul 05, 2016 2:16 am
Is it even worth watching next season?
Tue Jul 05, 2016 2:16 am
That Tweet will haunt him for a while...at least until the season starts and the Warriors start racking up wins.
Tue Jul 05, 2016 2:21 am
Wow KD just made a Ray Allen-Lebron James hybrid out of himself. So it seems for a while I'll not be sad and disinterested that the Bulls are rebuilding...
Tue Jul 05, 2016 2:32 am
I just hope Warriors get Howard/Nash/Kobe season. KD used to be one of my favourite players but it looks like im jumping on hatewagon. Good luck I guess....
Tue Jul 05, 2016 2:39 am
like i said this is bad for the nba. i see no reason to bother watching this season. without any injuries this shit is already over. there was 2 teams in the league he could not sign with yet he did anyway. this moves pretty much admits to the world he cannot lead a team to a championship
Tue Jul 05, 2016 2:45 am
Thing is even if he wins a championship, that ring will get more disrispect that LeBron ones. It took James one ring in Clevalnd to gain the respect he needed.

When I noticed Durant was talking a bunch of trash in the last few years, I figured we had a gamer on our hands who was going to make it interesting. I guess it was just a show. Going to the Warriors puts a bit of pressure on him, too. I'm sure people are already thinking about the finals. provided they stay healthy enough and the team clicks well.

Going for 74-8!

I think Russell will go nuts and be a true MVP candidate.
big-shot-ROB wrote:The NBA is done.
Not necessarily. Things like this open up spots for players to step up and become new stars.
Tue Jul 05, 2016 2:50 am
Man I hate OKC as much as anybody else on here and yet I'm still unhappy with KD's decision.
Tue Jul 05, 2016 2:54 am
Lebron didn't signed anything yet right? The Thunder should try to convince him to join them

Regarding that, DWade too hasn't signed yet perhaps the Cavs will try to get him? Perhaps ship Kevin Love elsewhere?
Tue Jul 05, 2016 2:55 am
the funny thing is if they dont win 73+ games and they dont win the ring KD is going to be shit on like no player before him. if they go 82-0 and win the ring without dropping a single playoff game people still wont respect him for this.
Tue Jul 05, 2016 3:00 am
A lot of people are talking about even more records by the Warriors this season, and I'm obviously not going to sit here and rule it out completely; that would be foolish. However - at the risk of sounding like a hater - I will suggest the possibility that despite the unselfishness of the team, it might not be a perfect fit straight away, and they might not be as dominant, despite how impressive they look on paper.
Also, thoughts from Stephen A. Smith:

Agreed, and while it's kind of invoking "heads I win, tails you lose", it's kind of a fair call at the same time. Mind you, there's already people talking about how if LeBron and the Cavs take down this Warriors team in the Finals, it's proof positive that he's better than MJ...
Tue Jul 05, 2016 3:05 am
all those "the league is rigged" people gonna come out it full force if this season, especially if the cavs beat the warriors in the finals again
Tue Jul 05, 2016 3:30 am
The "Mega Ultra Death Lineup" will be fun in video games though. KD at the 5 is the ultimate video game mismatch.
Tue Jul 05, 2016 3:31 am
Speaking of which, I'm guessing Ayesha Curry doesn't feel the league is rigged anymore.
Tue Jul 05, 2016 3:32 am
they should say fuck it and sign dirk also. maybe wade will agree to come off the bench for em
also i have never agreed with stephen a smith more

NBA's best regular season team of all time signs an MVP to go with their MVP, and two other all-star players. What a farce. It's no wonder the NFL is such a better product.
Don't think I'll ever watch another NBA game. My interest declines every season. After being fraudulently charged for League Pass even after I removed all of my credit card information, I switched over to Ballstreams. Once it went down, I never looked for another source for games. The regular season is boring and the playoffs are predictable, and feel scripted. There's nothing compelling about Durant going to the Warriors.
