Well the OKC-GSW game lived up to the hype. I thought it was a gone game but the Thunder fought back in the 4th they just fell short. The LAL-SAS game is also worth mentioning. That one is a strange game.

Well, I'd say it did live up to the hype. Great comeback for the Thunder, but too many blunders down the stretch, while the Warriors executed pretty much to plan. Once the Thunder stepped up defensively though, they showed they could hang with the Warriors. Subsequent meetings are going to be interesting, and hopefully just as entertaining.

40 points for KD but he and Russ went cold in clutch time. Would be a fun series if they are going to face each other in the playoffs.

I think today showed that OKC matches up pretty well against the Warriors. Yes, they looked like they were gonna get blown out like the Cavs and Spurs did, but they fought back really well. Late game execution killed them.

Getting Roberson back should make some difference at the defensive end next time and hopefully they won't concede 73 points in a half again.

Also, Billy Donovan needs to make sure that Kyle Singler doesn't leave the bench

Yeah, Mike Breen had a bizarre remark about Singler being an important player for the Thunder. It seemed like whenever he was on the floor, he was screwing up somehow. Meanwhile, Payne has potential, but needs to make better decisions.

Even with KD and Westbrook playing to their A games, they came quite short of winning. Perhaps chance of KD going to the Warriors slightly increased after the game? Seems like the Warriors are just on different level from everyone else. MJ's 72 win team comparison is looking legit.

I wouldn't say they came "quite short" of winning, as that implies they lost by 20 or more. They were right there with a chance to win until the final minute or so, despite digging themselves an early hole. If not for a couple of bad decisions down the stretch, they could've won that one.
