Knicks prediction, 37-45.

Jeffx what do you think of Landry Fields and Timofey Mozgov...
And thank god Toney Douglas is still coming off the bench, it was painful to watch Rautins play the PG.

Something is telling me that Ronny Turiaf is going to be a decent shot blocker this year, so far in the knicks game he has 3 blocks and 2 steals, maybe he'll do this against the good teams as well, don't know.

The Knicks will be a borderline playoff team, but if Raymond Felton or STAT goes down for 10 games at one time, no playoff for them. As a Bobcats fan, I'm a little ticked at Felton, but I'll still root for him: could be a borderline All-Star in the next couple years. Quote me on that when he gets there.

No one cares enough to remember your posts, let alone quote them.

Isn't he 26? He hasn't improved at all, just ran in place, over the last five years. He's suddenly going to flip a switch and turn himself in an All-Star?

The only way I see Felton as an all-star is if he benefits from D'antoni's system, averaging 15 pts and 9 ast (while people ignore his 3+ TO's pergame) and the knicks having a winning record.

It's not unfathomable.

Sorry, I was meaning All-Star in terms of one of the five or six best players at his position in the conference, nothing to do with voting or injury replacements.
Also, 2007-08.

Felts was arguably a top 5 PG in the conference last year. Had an abnormally hot shooting season.

Not point guard, guard.

Fields impressed me - he looked like a veteran on the court, didn't he? Mozgov is a work in progress - four fouls in eight minutes? I think he can be decent once he learns the NBA, but I'd rather have Turiaf on the court. Dude is a lunch-pail player, like Oak & Mase were.
I don't want to see Rautins or Bill Walker in the rotation.

I'd rather see Walker get some time then Roger Mason Jr. Fields is looking good so far in every game I've seen him play. I agree with you about Turiaf getting more time on the court, and Gallinari seriously needs to stop jacking up 3 pointers. He's 6'10" he should post up more often.

It's not like Gallinari has post moves to be going inside.

he has height and some speed, he always torches smaller defenders in the low post. He doesn't post up enough for people to take notice though, if he did he can elevate his game to a higher level. I'm not calling him a great post player, hell not even a good one, but it's sure a better alternative then shooting a ton of 3's and bricking them all. Oh, and he has a nice little fade away in the post too.

Go New York Go New York Go
It was only 16 years ago when they needed to win Game 7 at Houston for championship.

The hell Doobie, a video of him posting up guards? Not forwards, guards. Guards. G.u.a.r.d.s.
Sun Oct 31, 2010 7:55 am
That's why I made it clear that he torches smaller players. Most of the time there is a Guard defending him and he doesn't take advantage of it enough.

I am excited over the way Wilson Chandler is playing this year. His trade value is going up right now, but if he keeps this up the whole year it'd be hard to let him go.
Sun Oct 31, 2010 10:55 am
If Knicks are smart they'll let him go and get another good starter.

A lot changes in 16 years...

heh New York blew a late home lead to the Blazers.
Sun Oct 31, 2010 12:36 pm
Of course the Knicks find a way to play like morons and blow a 9 point lead with 5 minutes left. How stupid is that? And Amar'e has to stop dribbling the ball so much, too many turnovers this year. Stick to the fucking pick and roll from now on.
