Do the Knicks even care where Curry is? Why would they even want him to show up at camp? They probably know he can't play just like everyone else assumes.

Curry has to know the only reason a team will trade for him is the expiring contract. Why bother to show up?

Besides, if he's declared dead the Knicks don't have to pay him the rest of the contract.

That's true, perhaps they don't care. Perhaps it's worth paying him to stay away and exploring their options as far as trading his expiring contract.

The Knicks tried to buy him out, but fat ass wouldn't go for it(which is smart). Knicks were dumb enough to sign off on that ridiculous contract, now they have to deal with it.

I lol'd when I saw this in today's Daily News;

Eddy Curry (hamstring) was forced to miss the Knicks' final conditioning drill. On Saturday, teammates lapped him repeatedly during a fitness test.

Raw power that his legs can't support.

Now he is equally heavy as Shaq!

Eddy Curry frustrates me so much. It pisses me off more that he is still fairly young and has enough time to turn his career around and isn't taking advantage of it.

It'd be fun to go back in time and tell Bulls fans his career would end at 25. For the Knicks.

Supposedly the Knicks have brought in Anthony Mason to work out with Curry. My money is on Mase losing more weight than Curry.

What do you call a power forward that averages 7 rebounds?
A small forward.

Anthony Mason believes that the "sky's the limit" for Knicks center Eddy Curry if he can get back onto the court and remain healthy.

New York has enlisted Mason, a former Knicks forward, to work with Curry as the former tries to get back into the NBA as a coach/special assistant.

"If you get Eddy back on the court, the sky's the limit," Mason said Thursday.

Mase should be submitting to weekly drug tests at this point.

UPDATE: The Knicks might want to think about hiring a financial advisor for Eddy. TMZ has the latest on Curry’s money problems: “Curry is being sued by a company called Mojo Development — who claims they loaned the 7-footer $200,000 back in 2008 … but Curry never paid it back. According to the lawsuit, filed days ago in L.A. County Superior Court, Curry is also on the hook for a $25k ‘consulting fee’ and $136,000 in interest from the loan.”

Makes you wonder what he's doing with all that money he's doing little to earn.

Ah, that would explain it. These players really need advice from Harold Miner, who according to an article posted a while back is still living comfortably despite playing only three years in the league with a brief sponsorship deal, earning a very modest amount compared to the salaries players are earning these days.

Saw this post at another site. It's shows you what a fraud D'Anfoni is. LOL @ the Knick fans on Facebook who think this team is a 5th seed in the East. With this coach? Please. I guarantee you the players will be ready to mutiny by mid-season.

"Hate the idea of starting TD at 2.

So our bench just gets depleted because we have no true backup PG. Rautins sucks as a PG. Can't handle and gets ripped too much.

D'Antoni's gonna screw up the damn rotations. Then he'll tinker it after 2 games and guys will have no idea what to do.

Anthony Randolph needs his minutes cut in favor of more minutes for Fields.

I can understand if this kid can't do anything on the offensive side but when he even looks lost defensively...forget it. And I'm already sick of the "he's only 21" excuse.

I'm still puzzled by D'Antoni's "OFFENSE". All I see are the PG comes down the court, gets a pick by whoever's closest, then kicks it to someone across the court for a jumpshot.

That's all I ever see. And if it's something different, it's just give the ball to Amare in the high post and he'll do something on his own.

Me starts to really think that Nash was the coach on the floor in Phoenix.

So...you can't coach offense and you definitely CANNOT coach defense. So are his instructions just to run?

Watching the Lakers vs Golden State last night got me REALLY missing David Lee.

Wish we could've got STAT and Lee to play together.

I know we severely got outrebounded during the preseason."
