Well,i don't like that at all.
Maybe Isiah fucked up Knicks, but As a Player he was one of the best.

No question, and it's a shame his playing career is overshadowed by his blunders while in a suit. But the video is still a fair call.

Absolutely. And I get so frustrated with these young Knick fans who are impatient with Walsh. He has to undo eight years of retarded moves by the last two regimes. That shit takes time.

I'm not impatient with Walsh, but I am annoyed at the whole '2010' deal. Because of this we are most likely gonna lose one of the best rebounders in the NBA.

With all the hype, it's either going to be a major coup if they land one or two of the biggest names or a major disappointment if they have to settle for much less. I'm not sure what Walsh's backup plan is if things don't fall into place next year.

Yeah...good luck with that.

The Knicks could conceivably pick a fight with the Players Association to void the last year of Curry's contract. However, it is doubtful that the Knicks would explore that option for several reasons. For one, Walsh believes Curry can salvage his career. Plus, the Knicks probably don't want to pick a fight with Curry's agent, Leon Rose, who also happens to represent LeBron James.
I think Walsh has far too much optimism when it comes to Curry if that's the case, though it's certainly a sound idea not to pursue that option for the latter reason alone.

Walsh is being PC about Curry, Andrew. He knows Curry is a fat, lazy fuck but he can't say it. He's hoping Curry can get in SOME kind of shape so he can deal him.

Like that?

Watched the first half of yesterday's game. Pretty good game for Gallinari but you can't win games with such a horrible 3PT% (whole team). Sometimes everything felt like an All Star-game...no defense, the Heat drove to the basket for easy dunks with the Knicks standing around and thinking "wow, nice dunk".
Thu Oct 29, 2009 11:10 pm
Knicks are soft, too small and where's this defense D'Antoni was talking about?
I looked at Brook Lopez' numbers, and I'm saying, why did Walsh take Gallinari over this cat?
Sat Oct 31, 2009 9:53 pm
Watched the second half. Way behind...then a fantastic comeback. Double overtime...just to lose again. Horrible.
Danilo Gallinari is fantastic, he was fouled on his last three pointer, wasn't he? And what about Harrington's block in the last seconds? The Bobcats got the crucial freethrows but I am not sure if it really was a foul.
Chris Duhon:
“We lost this game before the game even started,” Duhon said. “A lot of us weren’t taking the game serious — joking around, not really preparing for the game, and it showed. It just seems like we’re always taking a team’s first punch.”
WTF? If I were the coach I wouldn't play him for one game for such a annoying sentence. Then he could joke around at home.
Sun Nov 01, 2009 9:08 am
Why should he be suspended or held out of the lineup over that? He obviously wasn't the only one joking around too much. It's not like he was advocating it either; he's just giving his thoughts on why they lost.

Another game and they are behind big time. 70 against them at halftime. Where do you watch the game? Doesn't MSG broadcast the game online?
Danilo Gallinari can become something really big for the Knicks. He played a low number of games last season but has done really well in three games this season. His future might look bright. He is tall, athletic and can shoot the threeeeeeeeeeee...
GO Danilo, another three, a block...
Sun Nov 01, 2009 12:06 pm
Why can't the Knicks play with their heart for 48 minutes??? They always wake up in the last 20 minutes...when it is too late.
EDIT Holy... wow.... the game is tied. Overtime. Not again...
Sun Nov 01, 2009 12:45 pm
just watched a wonderful game by the knicks although when harrington foul out I think they lost their hope to win..but gallinari show good signs as a player..
Mon Nov 02, 2009 1:24 am
Watched the game too.
When they're losing big, they wake up.
I Always hated Harrington, but now i see Him,and Nate are the team spirit.
When they're gone there's absolutely no chance of winning.
Gallinari was amazing tho.
Mon Nov 02, 2009 8:58 am
Yup I agree. if the knick win it depends on how harrington and nate are playing..
Wed Nov 04, 2009 5:48 pm
On a positive note Danillo is leading the NBA in 3's made so far. I would still rather have Brook Lopez, but it looks like Gallinari will make a living as being a top shooter beyond 3. Also with his ball handling and passing, kind of reminds me of a Hedo a little bit.

The NY metro teams are a combined 1-13. Another STELLAR season of basketball.
This paragraph from the following article says it all:
Despite a renewed focus in training camp, the Knicks still play no defense. They rank last in the league in most major categories. No one knows how to play the pick and roll properly. David Lee is still a liability in the middle. There’s no consistent effort. No one gets back on defense. I won’t even mention proper help defense and rotations. That’s way too complicated for this group. After the game against Milwaukee, rookie Brandon Jennings said to MSG’s Tina Cervasio, “The Knicks just gave us shots in the first half. It was pretty bad.”

I don't think Lee's cut out to be a centre, even in D'Antoni's system. They don't have a lot of viable options though, the only natural centre on the roster is Eddy Curry and he's not exactly an option these days.
Tue Nov 10, 2009 11:02 pm
I'm starting to like Brandon Jennings.
