Wade with the BLOCK!!
Wed May 25, 2011 1:35 pm
And that does it. Miami gets the 3-1 lead. Again LeBron with clutch buckets and FTs
Wed May 25, 2011 1:37 pm
Lebron was bored so he bought many things to celebrate his win
Wed May 25, 2011 1:38 pm
History says this one is over, but I hope the Bulls can at least save face with a win at home in Game 5. Final free throw count: Heat 38, Bulls 22. Bulls had their opportunities though.
Wed May 25, 2011 1:39 pm
FUCK YEAH!
NOW THAT'S WUT I'M TALKING ABOUT!
Wed May 25, 2011 1:39 pm
Well its not exactly over we can't say it maybe bulls will bounce back and win the title like the 1981 Celtics.
Wed May 25, 2011 1:43 pm
I doubt it, not enough offense. This series is a good example of how the mantra "Defense wins championships" isn't quite accurate. Still have to make them count at the other end.
Don't get me wrong, I'd love for it to happen but realistically speaking I just don't think it's in the cards. The Bulls don't have the weapons of the 1981 Celtics.

The Bulls definitely had their chance but I don't understand why they went to Rose on the last possession in the regulation. Lebron was guarding him. They could have gone to one of their big first. There was enough on shot clock too. The Bulls forced bit too much on Rose tonight.
Wed May 25, 2011 1:44 pm
Exactly and they need to work on defense and don't give up yet.

I guess he's still their go to guy when it comes down to it, plus he's got range that Boozer and Noah do not. He got a decent look I thought, given how well LeBron was defending him.

Both teams I think are playing outstanding defense for sure It's just that the Heat were able to come up with little more on offense with the Big 3. As for the Bulls, Rose seems to be only player that an effectively create(for others as well). Boozer and Noah are playing decent but definitely needs more from them in this series.

With Korver still not giving them much, I'd like to see Butler get a few minutes in Game 5. Worth a shot, perhaps if only for a couple of minutes to begin the second quarter. I'm not suggesting he's an answer to the Heat's big three, but the Bulls should take scoring wherever they can get it.

for the record, i was the one who said "Heat in 5" in the poll
Wed May 25, 2011 2:39 pm
poor shot selection on their last possession. He should penetrate it inside and get the foul and win by free-throw
Wed May 25, 2011 2:50 pm
Easier said than done with LeBron covering him, though.
Wed May 25, 2011 3:03 pm
but he has the speed to penetrate inside..
Wed May 25, 2011 4:25 pm
He also has the hands to shoot a mid-court jumper.
Wed May 25, 2011 4:28 pm
Lebron was covering him pretty well. Lebron probably was expecting penetration by the way. That's probably why he allowed a good look at step back jump shot. I agree with Andrew on this point that he had somewhat of a good look at the basket even though the shot was challenged.
Wed May 25, 2011 4:46 pm
The Heat had the paint pretty crowded behind LeBron, perhaps he could've drawn the foul but it was a decent look. His jumpshot wasn't falling and LeBron's defense was superb.

That one was a pity...
We should have won it ,we could have won it,but we didn't...
I'm really disappointed on how the series have turned out ,but this game 4,was a bigger disappointed,as it was in our hands and our last minute defense and especially the job Brewer did had no result....
At the back of my head there's the hope that a miracle can be done(has a team ever come back from a 3-1 deficit?), but however the series finish,I'm really happy with how this one went so far.A dream season and I believe with the right acquisitions next year we could be the ones in the Finals(more talk should be done after the end of the ECF in the Bulls thread though)...
Wed May 25, 2011 6:05 pm
I still see my Heat in 6 come true.
Wed May 25, 2011 6:13 pm
Eight teams have been able to overcome a 3-1 deficit and win the series.

We should not forget Tracy McGrady's "it feels good to be in the second round."
