When I said Lakers in 6... I meant it.
Sat May 30, 2009 1:23 pm
A devastating ending for a brilliant season for the Denver organization.
Sat May 30, 2009 1:39 pm
Their defense really let them down. And they couldn't get going offensively early either.
Sat May 30, 2009 1:41 pm
Yes! Back in da NBA Finals. we gonna win it all this year baby.
Sat May 30, 2009 1:43 pm
Hopefully, Kobe and the rest of the Lakers can get another ring that will join Gorgeous, Beautiful and Sexy.
Sat May 30, 2009 1:49 pm
If it isn't with those... If they just... ahh damn it... Lamar Odom is playing well the past few games. If he'll carry on with the same composure and confidence it will be great for the Lakers. Let see.. let see..

Yahooo

the lakers are now the western conference CHAMPIONS
Sat May 30, 2009 1:57 pm
It was Luke Walton, I thought, who played a major role on this win. He's the X-factor as what they call it.

What the heck? That's weird...

Kobe finally has a legit chance again at the championship. If he wins it all him as the best player on the Lakers, I think there is going to be a debate once again on MJ vs Kobe. -_-

I'm referring to the second installment of the Kobe-LeBron puppet advertisement wherein Kobe named his 3 championship rings, Gorgeous, Beautiful and Sexy.

So much for my Orlando-Denver finals fanboyism. And to think of all this time I am starting to like the Lakers.
Well good luck to them, but I still won't root for them to win the championship
Sat May 30, 2009 3:09 pm
Lakers go 24 for 24 at the charity stripe, though neither Bynum nor Ariza attempted any
Kobe only had one turnover and 10 assists, took 20 shots
Lakers had twice as many assists as the Nuggets
i was impressed.
Sat May 30, 2009 3:28 pm
And that assists are real assists, not just an "I want to have a triple double" assists.
Sat May 30, 2009 3:38 pm
congrats to the bastard lakers, you now only have a short wait til you get another ring
Sat May 30, 2009 4:03 pm
Finally !
This series is over . . .
There's no chance the Nuggets will get into the Finals with that line-up .

C'mon, they really have a chance to go to the Finals with that line-up. They just fell short in Game 6.
Oh yeah, congratulations to the L.A. Lakers. But still,I'll go for Orlando if they end it tomorrow.

You're rooting for them and now you're saying that they have no chance with that line-up? You are always contradicting all the things that you are saying. Not just in that statement but in each and every post you have here in this thread.
Anyway, that Denver team can match-up well with the Cavaliers or Magic it just so happened that they came out flat this game and of course, LA played extremely well.

Yeah , you're right . But that's who I am . ( I'm a Laker Fan

)
My heart goes to the Nuggets but my pocket goes to the Lakers !
Cha-Ching !

Yeah, if the Lakers lose in the finals however, lookout for Shaq's "Tell me how my ass taste" rap again this year.

That says a lot about your impression towards them huh?

One thing I'm really, really puzzled about: why did the Nuggets suddenly decided after Game 4 to run double-teams at the Lakers? They didn't need to do that at that stage, the series was still even and after that LA shredded them with their ball movement, which is obviously a strength of theirs.
And then George Karl laughed at the start of the fourth quarter to the suggestion that LA were killing them all over the floor. What an arrogant dick, I'm still pissed at his completely biased perceptions of the events during the Nuggets-Mavs series.
Congrats to the Lakers, and I suppose a great season for the Nuggets too, but they really had an opportunity to win this series and that strategy change that their coaching staff implemented just reeked of suck.

I know that the natural born haters are really disappointed with the Lakers advancing to the Finals.

Avery Johnson ! Come on In ! ( Denver )
George Karl stinks too bad !

its in my blood to hate the lakers, then if that was not enough, i was taught to hate them even more before i could even walk. everytime they or the yankees win it all it sickens me lol. honestly in boston people enjoy hating the lakers/yankees more than they enjoy rooting for celts/sox
