and Adelman is better than Phil

 I like that. (Y)

Still, every team needs a coach to guide and point them directions. It's not just the game itself but also in practice and many more. Players on the court will never be able to see the game from the perspective/angle which the coaches who are standing on the sideline can, and vice versa. :)

Phil had already won in the finals against Larry Brown a few years earlier.

"Even Larry Brown", makes him sound shitty come to think of it.

Anyways, this team just does not give up. The pick and roll still seems to be a glaring hole, am I glad they won't be matching up with Chris Paul this year. Billups on the other hand...tch, I've got my fingers crossed for tomorrows game.

It's a pain to watch the game right now, 2nd quart, 9 minutes left. Offense on both sides are so messed, Lakers should have busted this thing wide open through the first 5 minutes, but instead, sloppy offense leading to a single digit lead at the end of 1st.

20 point lead at the half.. We should start thinking about Denver vs LA. At least Houston is fighting, maybe Artest has got something in mind, especially after Bynum's foul against Brooks..

The Lakers are cruising. Both teams are playing their normal games.

This is a great example of the "Good Defense but better Offense" that most of the commentators are talking about these days.

Well, they won. It's a little bit sad but still, the Rockets came down with a good fight.

Eventhough the Rockets lost they are a winner in other ways in this series.

This series should be a good test for the Lakers, and also a great experience for the Rockets. :D All the Rockets players should be proud of themselves, they put up a great fight despite losing Yao Ming. They will obviously be sad and disappointed with the lost, but they should also be happy with themselves as soon as the sadness are over with.

Lakers and its fans, congratulations. Hard fought series, but the Rockets just weren't good enough. I do believe the LAL has the talents to go all the way. They just need to stay focused. I've seen them struggling time to time in this series, and this bit concerns me going into series with Denver since they have been more than impressive. Denver poses threat in every position and I think they also don't mind physical games just like the Rockets, if not better at it. Oh yes, this I think is going to be another good series.

It's an unceremoniuos end to the season for the Rockets but they put up more of a fight than they had any business doing given their injury woes and the opponent they had to contend with. It's good for them moving forward and it's potentially good for the Lakers too as far as being a test of their resolve/focus and perhaps a bit of a wakeup call. A disappointing finale for the Rockets and their fans but it could've easily been much worse particularly when Yao went down for the postseason.

Trust me, if the Rockets by any chance happened to beat the Lakers in last night's game, I would be throwing parties right now.

It's not a very disappointing finale for me though, they exceeded my expectations and my expectations wasn't very high ever since I found out that they got out of the first round only to play the Lakers. When Yao went down I thought that was it, but they still managed to win 2 games without him and that really impresses me. They're winners to me, and that's all it really matters.
