Grumbling about the incompetent officiating aside, the Cavs shot the lights out in that one. Even though they were shooting over 50% at one point, the Warriors never looked particularly comfortable or in rhythm for more than a couple of possessions in a row. Guess Game 3 wasn't the Cavs' best punch after all...but can they do it in four straight games, two at Oracle if it comes to that?

Probably not but I hope so because 3-0 memes might be fun.

If they do, that Tweet is going to haunt KD all offseason.

So, Game 5 predictions? I'm going to jinx the Warriors and pick them to close out the series with a comfortable victory at home.

i missed most of the 1st half. from the posts here it doesn't seem like worth catching up on.

imagine if the cavs were able to close out game 3. wow.

and refs aside, the cavs ball movement/ability to hit open 3.. they looked like GSW for a game

next game the fingers are crossed cavs role players can hit 3pters or else here its back to ripping on james for not having the killer instinct

Cavs played insane, no doubt. They shot like 60% (?) from three. That's insane. I wonder if they can sustain that effort and efficiency in game five. I too think GS closes it out in the next one.

If they (the league) nudges this to more games then I feel they should make the Finals best of 9 or some shit like that. I'd be fine watching more games, I just don't want the refs helping any team in any direction, be it the Cavs or the Warriors.

i honestly would stop watching if it was best of 9. the season and the playoffs are already too long.

yes i want to see Clev. give their best effort...on the road. tristan kill them on the boards, the role players hit 3's. james go full kawai full robot mode. force kerr to play the death lineup. seems like he is hesitant to play it for big minutes.

The NBA is so fixed at this point the impossible can happen.

Cavs in 7 mark my words.

I hope Cvas can win this one. I highly doubt, Oracle is a hard place to win and it's funny how the crowd is the greatest motivation for the Warrior's runs. What I find curious is how much Durant has taken this team to another level. If you think about the Dubs without him, I find them not only beatable, but quite weak against the Cavs.

If Cavs manage to win this one, who knows what may the outcome be. Stephen A. Smith may be a jerk, but he was right about how game 5 was the most important game last year for the W's. It's the same situation now (except they have now that snake), the fact the order of W's and L's was switched in Ohio doesn't matter that much I think.

Cavs are surviving so far.

Surviving is the key word here though. Warriors look like they're semi-strolling through this.

It's the Warriors series to lose. Cavs shouldn't be able to sustain the 60% 3 shooting percentage. It just shouldn't be sustainable.

Nor can the Warriors keep missing their shots. It's falling now. Hope they finish this tonight.

Looks like the Warriors are starting to run away with it.

Their current lineup is ridiculous. Practically every single player can easily hit the 3 (long 2 for West.)

Also... that almost fight has been one of the highlights of this series so far. David West don't give a fuck. #veteran

Thompson isn't about that life. He's Canadian. West would end him.

Lebron yapping away after the fact. This is shaping up to be a good game fellas!

It's only a good game when the cavs are getting screwed by officials I guess.

Or the Warriors are playing the way they usually play and outplaying the Cavs. There are missed calls both ways. Don't make me remind you Thompson and Durant were both out early with 2 fouls.

[Shaq] Stop it! [/Shaq]

Edit: it's also a good game when the Cavs play matador defense to allow Iggy dunks...I guess.

You can hate all you want, but Curry has attempted more free throws than our entire team.

Was waiting for the hater term. Thanks for not making me wait too long.

Curry is also the one getting fouled the most, they grab the dude, push the dude, jab the dude...the NBA is all about letting the offensive player be protected with no hand checking and no hands on them but the Cavs basically fondle his nuts on every play. If they called it legit the dude would have even more free throws. You're such a Warriors hater.

there is a strong misconception that more free throws = beneficial calls. sometimes it works that way and sometimes people just keep fouling players.

Warriors looked sloppy and out of sync again early on, even though they really didn't get down by that much. Ball movement looked better as the second quarter wore on though, and the shots started falling. If that keeps up, it's going to be too much to handle.

The most amazing thing about the West/Thompson confrontation is that Matt Barnes and Draymond Green didn't get themselves ejected.

I'd just like to say this since it's been a while:

Fuck Kevin Durant. Dude out there shooting open three's and layups and his soft bitch ass says this was the hardest road.
