They should trade Randolph
Who would want him? Maybe the Clippers now...

clippers have a need for randolph right now..... he has brands offensive game, just nowhere near the motivation or defense..... i don't blame brand however..... i read in the article that the clippers seriously lowballed him

No GM with any brains will take on Zach(or Curry's) insane contract. Of the two, I prefer Zach - at least he can rebound. Eddy Curry is a waste of space, no desire at all. Can't even get motivated to stay in shape.
It'll be interesting to see what Walsh does with Marbury now that Duhon's on board.

Probably, Marbury's contract would be bought out.. or maybe they could spend another year with him, and end up scratching their heads by the end of the season.. If ever his contract is bought out, expect different teams to gamble on him..

Like I said earlier, it would have to be a desperate team, a team with nothing to lose. There's no denying his talent, but Marbury's worn out his welcome wherever he's gone.

I'm interested to see if he'll go through with his claim that he intends to play in Europe (was it Italy specifically?) when his contract is up, and whether he'd head over there if he's cut loose before then.

Right.. I agree.. Probably, he would be like players who go to championship contenders, and doesn't even mind if they get a penny.. LOL

Any news? I am really excited whom the Knicks will trade. David Lee has to stay in NY though. He is a solid player and could develop into something important.

Because of the ridiculous contracts Isiah gave out, Knicks don't have many players who are tradeable. If you're the GM of another team, do you want Isiah's garbage?

This my friends, is going to take a while. A long, long, long while. Don't expect a team makeover like Boston last summer, cause its not gonna happen.
I know I'm late on the topic, but I like the Duhon pick up. Provides the team with a guy whos an actual PG and a bit of character.
Thu Aug 21, 2008 5:08 pm
The Knicks will probably get their money's worth as far his point guard skills but his character might be a bit of a disappointment.

I'm just tired of hearing some Knick fans talking playoffs. Playoffs. what playoffs? This team is light-years from being a serious contender.

The Knicks have me depressed.. =(.

Get ready for at least three years of depression until Walsh gets us under the cap.

Marbury Expected To Be Waived
I guess they figure there won't be anyone interested in a trade, even with the cap relief he'll provide in a year's time. The Knicks might as well be the ones to benefit from his contract coming off the books.
Fri Sep 19, 2008 9:25 pm
How dare the Knicks for trying to waive the "best PG" in the NBA.
Sun Sep 21, 2008 9:17 pm
If he does get cut, I wonder if he'll latch on somewhere else or end up playing overseas as he hinted at a couple of years ago. I don't see any other NBA teams rushing to make a huge financial commitment to him so if money is at all a factor, I'd say he'll be Europe bound.
Sun Sep 21, 2008 10:53 pm
So he'll be playing in the Italian league earlier than expected, Marbury is a prophet.

Goodbye Marbury, you will kind of be missed....
NOT!
Wed Sep 24, 2008 2:11 am
I love watching Mike D'Antoni rebuilding the team. He does it really nicely. Later, Marbury.
Wed Sep 24, 2008 3:30 am
Yeah, even i like the knicks now
