See? It's no fun being the jinx.

Ricky Rubio's shooting is troublesome. International games usually don't mean whole lot to NBA, but it's kinda discouraging after all these years he will still shoot .350.

Spain lost to France! Hurraaaah!

Rubio is now basically a Spanish Jamaal Tinsley.

Let's just hope for a tight game between the two.

How is that supposed to happen if Spain is already eliminated from the tournament?

I've said a couple of times that his posts give you cancer.

Btw did anyone catch who got in a scuffle at the end of USA-Litva?

EDIT: I hope Serbia beats France tommorow. As a Croat, it's nice to see Croatia, Slovenia and Serbia getting better year-by-year.

Phillipines must be treating foreign players right. Even Lopez wants in.

This whole "naturalized player" thing is getting retarted. Lafayette played for Croatia after never even living/playing for a club here.

Good win by Serbia. Too bad their fans have serious expectations that Serbia is going to win. If aynthing, I hope USA at least makes the game attractive with some fancy plays.

France is going to pwn Lithuania. Batum, Diaw and Diaws big belly are pissed.

EDIT: I was rooting for Serbia to make an impact, but after seing their fans absolutely bash anyone who doesn't think they are number 1, I hope they get decked...hard. I hate it when a team/player plays a good tournament and suddenly their idiotic fans say that they are the best ever and get cocky and full of shit and insulting words (a la LeBron Heat bandwagons)(Full hate)

Some of the fans are getting cocky because nobody believed Serbia would leave the group stage, and here we are.I want for Serbia to win,but I know we will lose.I am hoping we won't lose by 20+

I'm not reffering to that, just take a look at NBA.com's facebook page.

A random guy writes USA is going to win.

Dozens of Serbs bash him with insults that don't get smarter than someones mom, looks etc.

I am not talking about every Serbia fan, but in general you've proven how much you lack sportsmanship and class. DECKING TIME.

The money is good.
Blatche is reportedly being paid $4 million to participate in 2 tournaments, FIBA Cup and Asian Games, in a 2 month span. That's near MLE money for only 2 months or $2 million per tournament, at most 10 games in each tournament.
That's equivalent to being paid $16 million in a season in the NBA (80 games).

Not to mention the lump sum that he received. I think that's $1M also.

But he's barred from playing in the Asian Games.

Good. Means he can still be available for FIBA Asia next year to qualify for the Olympics.

A seven-foot big man with a decent touch from long range, Lopez expressed his willingness after only his third day in a country where basketball is a religion.

Robin didn't have any long range touch, which the writer said that he has it. It's Brook who has it.

That writer must be high when he was doing that article.
