Unless they completely shit the bed, Miami should win tomorrow. The Pacer offense looked real bad in Miami last time out and the home team usually gets the calls... unless of course you're the Bulls and you're playing Miami.

Compared to Hibbert's first years in the league, his footwork and his hands really improved. I also like his hook shot that makes him so hard to defend. He still has room left to grow but unlike Dwight, Hibbert seems committed to work on his game.

Howard over Hibbert any day. You guys are just in the moment.
If only 3 players of Pacers pick it up, then there is no stopping them. Be it Hill or West along with Hibbert & George.
Rebounding and 3 pointers will be the prime factors tomorrow.

No one was picking between Howard/Hibbert.

Imagine if the Heat had the personnel to manage this.

Me neither... I was just comparing the progress each of them has made during the last couple of seasons.

Bandwagoners' logic. Please forgive him.

The progress each of them have made....who was better last season? And why would you say Howard has no more room to grow? For all I know, he might just have the best season next season.
Stress Fracture, I just misunderstood(if), I didn't imply or use any logic. But you should before you post

But it's Bosh and a half broken Wade.

I would take Hibbert over Howard! Howard is too injury prone, not only physically. Check this out!

You understand what progress means? It's not about who is the better player, but who developed better.
The following example should explain what I mean:
Player A developed from 3 to 7 during the timespan X. Player B developed from 7 to 8 during the same timespan. Player B would still be better overall (8 instead of 7), but player A made the bigger progress during timespan X...

Thanks for the wonderful example! I misunderstood. My point was Hibbert may have progressed better but he still isn't a better player than Howard. But still, I think Howard has more to his game and is surely not done growing.

Howard's attitude alone would give me reason enough to not pick him, there's no way in hell I'd trust him with my franchise.

After reading accounts of what happened to Bird and seeing what happened to T-Mac's career, I will pick the guy with no history of back injury to progress more than someone who had one just recently.

The Pacers are a turnover factory.
Tue Jun 04, 2013 11:06 am
And yet they still lead by two while limiting the Heat to less than 40% shooting.
Edit: Aw crap.
Tue Jun 04, 2013 11:41 am
this game makes me sick but its not like i didnt already know who was gonna win
Tue Jun 04, 2013 12:21 pm
I hope the Spurs sweep the bitches.
Tue Jun 04, 2013 12:44 pm
So Miami's only missed one free throw out of 24. They're crushing the Pacers on the boards and forcing turnovers constantly. Not only that they're outscoring Indiana in the paint.
Why didn't they bother to do this in some of those other five games?

The pressure has never been greater on LeBron. Kobe's shown not only how to win three straight Finals but also how to win two-straight after losing a first one.

Ticket Sales perhaps?

Agreed. I hope history repeats itself in that LeBron gets swept by the Spurs. Although, as impressive as the Heat's defense has been this Game 7, it'll be a challenge.
Tue Jun 04, 2013 1:12 pm
Had a feeling this might happen and I'm certainly not shocked to see the Heat win, but I was still hoping we'd see a competitive Game 7. Shame that didn't come to pass but the Heat showed up while the Pacers did not, a very subpar offensive performance by Indiana. You've got to give credit to Miami's defense there but Indiana did help them out a little bit there.
Tue Jun 04, 2013 1:30 pm
Pacers really were hurt by trading Darren Collison in the offseason. They needed a real point guard to handle the Heats pressure. Way too many turnovers.
Good series. In fact one of the better I have ever seen. Too bad game 7 was a stinker.
Tue Jun 04, 2013 1:32 pm
the pacers where the heats best player and they already have 10 starters. the NBA really needs a diff salary cap. i dont ever watch heat games bc i already know whos gng to win.

at that coming from a Lakers fan.
