1:32 is an automatic 50. Shouldn't have showed it already.

yep, it sure is, but even if he still does it in the contest, it will still be a 50.

Seems that video has been removed. Here it is again:

lol, NBA removed the video so as not to spoil the dunk. Too late.

What is Dawkins doing? The other guy seems more like the coach.

Throwing out useless suggestions, from the looks of it.

He was never creative , same as Houndy. At least he brought in Jus Fly to tutor Demar

mandick, if you're going to call out someone might as well do it in a thread where that person regularly posts and stop doing it like a backstabbing bitch.

Wasn't Dawkins the guy who used to break backboards back then?
Sat Feb 19, 2011 12:52 am
The very same. He was also famous for naming his dunks.

just a reminder that the "real" dunk contest is tonight at 9:30EST (2 hours from now) online

ok, NOW the dunk contest is starting (crappy people were singing)
and fuck....fan voting in the finals for this too?
Sat Feb 19, 2011 1:14 pm
overall the dunks were OK, but really lame as a contest
crowd was completely dead, none of them could get their "signature" dunks down clean or at all......none of them deserve the 10k
Sat Feb 19, 2011 1:30 pm
How the hell did young Hollywood win? Because t-dub is not camera friendly. "enough talk, double up" WTF, smh.
Dobbs choked. He didn't have to get too crazy to win, but he went all out trying to get those nasty dunks down that are on YouTube.
I literal fell asleep watching. Then woke up, tried to exit the fullscreen flash and my displays froze. The audio continued, but I was forced to reset my cpu, ha-ha.
Let's hope this contest isn't foreshadowing tomorrows contest.

for true sir, for true
I've been watching a bunch of recaps of the past years and thought that they were better than I remember....this contest made me remember all the misses and loss of momentum from dunk to dunk that ruined it.
Sat Feb 19, 2011 2:20 pm
oh dammit i thought it was gonna be on nba tv. i was looking for it but i guess i missed it

recap of the showdown dunk contest
and evidently the D-League tricked us and did a 2nd dunk contest.....cause that on versus last month was definitely not last year's
Sun Feb 20, 2011 7:37 am
JYD and Brian Grant!

Looks like there were a couple of really good ones in the first round of the Sprite Showdown, but the final round was a bit disappointing. Nice dunks, but not as good as the first round and nothing that hasn't been done just as well before. D-League contest seemed alright, looks like they overdid between-the-legs off the bounce though.
The NBA contest might just stand a chance at being the most entertaining dunk contest of the Weekend.

That's a scary thought

It's arguably how it should be, even if it hasn't been in recent years.
Sun Feb 20, 2011 1:18 pm
why are they naming the dunks......east bay funk remix?
nice first dunk
that is a legit foul line
nooo mcgee...cmon man WOW
blake's was nasty, but it should have been a 46 along with derozen and ibaka
WERM's dunk!
Sun Feb 20, 2011 1:32 pm
I don't like how Blake Griffin gave up on that awesome dunk he was about to do.

I would've scored Ibaka a little higher, the free throw line dunk has been done but I'm not sure that anyone's jumped from that far back in the NBA contest. DeRozan's should have been a 46 or 47 in my opinion, I think the number of attempts cost him. As much as I think props are overdone McGee's was very creative, I don't know about it getting a 50 but it was pretty unique. I thought Griffin's should've been a 50 as well.
Sun Feb 20, 2011 1:41 pm
Sit just asked Ibaka for his little Bull doll!
