Meal Ticket will win MIP, DPotY and MVP. Quote this shit in 10 months.

Randy Foye will join the Clippers!

At this point it's not a matter of Kleiza rejecting the offer as he's signed the offer sheet; rather a case of whether or not Denver will match it.

I fail to see the logic in Toronto signing Kleiza besides adding another Euro to the team. Accomplishes nothing.

They may not have gotten LeBron, but the Clippers didn't leave free agency empty-handed. They got Randy Foye and Ryan Gomes!

Did the Nets get anyone great in the free-agency? I have lost track on most of the teams because of Lebron. I think them and the Knicks are the favorites before for Lebron.

They got Travis "Trout" Outlaw

Lol @ Linas Kleiza. The Raptors need more average guys on long term contracts.

Denver will surely match Kleiza offer since he's a RFA

Then again, can Riley really pull that twice?

Yes, because he's Pat the Rat.

It's probably over for Spoelstra. He can't control the likes of Rafer Alston how much more if it's LeBron?

I don't like the Beasley trade for Heat. Why give away a good offensive player who you can play as a 6th man or trade for another player who better fits the new system? All the trade has done has opened up a million or so extra for the 3 Musketeers. Let them take a little less & actually put an extra decent player around them. They are not going to win a title with them 3, Mike Miller, Mario Chalmers, Joel Anthony, Udonis Haslem & minimum wage guys, regardless of how epic Joel Anthony is.

It opened up more like $4,5M (Beasley's salary - cap hold), thanks to that, they were able to sign Miller.

Does Miami still have Quentin Richardson?

No, James, Wade, Bosh, Chalmers, Miller and also Anthony should be a restricted FA

I wish Q-Rich, Haslem, Joel and Dorell would stay.

They gave Mike Miller too much money. Q-Rich would have been a better fit. He defends and is a great rebounder for his position. If they wanted a shooter, gone with Korver not Miller.

But I fear Haslem, Anthony and Wright would get more money elsewhere. The Heat would be lucky, if if just one of them stays.

Bosh offer an explanation for his choice of wearing, "00" anywhere? I assume it's not in homage of the late Kevin Duckworth

Number of rings they will win?

Back to "zero" for Bosh again thus the double zero?

He just wants to spend more time with his family. He's starting to miss them already.

3 weeks into the regular season is my prediction. And honestly, the longer i think about it, the more i'd take the under.

A month or two maybe. But he can do the other. Let the team go to playoffs and then take the position and take all the glory from Spoelstra

I thought he was going to wear #1.

What's wrong with his #4?

Re: 2010 Free Agency Discussion Thread

Nothing, but the report was that he'd be wearing #1 with Chalmers changing to #15 and LeBron wearing #6 as planned. Wade of course will still be #3.
