They're looking to let go of Wade in the offseason so they need backcourt depth.

Allen and Rondo reunited. This could be one of the happiest days in Brad Stevens life...
Sun Dec 15, 2013 6:42 pm
Nice one. Ray Allen.
Players up for grab...really? Not James Jones. So, I can't think of anybody else.
Sun Dec 15, 2013 8:11 pm
Can't think of the C's aiming for Beasley... Actually I can't think of anyone aiming for Beasley.
Sun Dec 15, 2013 8:21 pm
Maybe Chalmers or Coles. Any of the Heat guards, Celtics preparation for trading away Rondo.
Sun Dec 15, 2013 8:23 pm
Rondo to the Knicks or to the Lakers?
I'd bet on the Knicks.
Sun Dec 15, 2013 8:51 pm
Come to think of it, maybe Jordan Crawford is just a rumor after all. Why a replacement is needed for Wade, I still don't understand. Heat have enough guards.
http://www.celticsblog.com/2013/12/14/5 ... in-the-nbaI would really like if Rondo joined the Knicks. That stuff would be dope
Mon Dec 16, 2013 3:37 pm
It obviously is a rumour because the next first-round pick that Heat can trade is their 2017. They have a Philly first that's lottery protected this year and next, but if the pick isn't conveyed by next year it becomes 2015 and 2016 second-round picks. They don't have the ability to eat Gerald Wallace's contract, and they don't have any attractive prospects, the Heat are bunch of bums. There's no way the Celtics would take bums for hot and sexy Jordan Craaaawford.

Good god the NBA is crap this season. The Heat and Lebron are good but look at their schedule, out of 24 games they've played 5 against teams that are currently over .500. The Pacers (The Heat lost), The Clippers (16-9), The Suns (14-9), the Mavs (14-10) and the Hawks (13-12).

I have to agree. I watched Heat vs. Cavs recently and the Heat are far away from dominating the league like they did a year ago. Where has their defense gone? Saw a few good games from the Mavs and I really like what I've seen from the Trailblazers so far.
Still NCAA basketball is far more entertaining these days.

I think the Heat are just gonna cruise this season. They don't care about seeding but wellness of their roster built entirely of 40 years old players. And then there's Oden and Wade who got no knees whom the Heat are depending on to make miraculous difference in the playoffs. In other word, the Heat are done. Better question is who's going to rise up in this new saga, GREEN.
Tue Dec 17, 2013 6:35 pm
Come on. Did you guys see Bosh in the 3rd quarter today?
Heat against Pacers coming up again. Let's see.
Thu Dec 19, 2013 2:49 pm
This was the first time in a while any Heat player took 25 shots from the field. The fact that Wade did it while leading the team with 37 minutes was proof the maintenance program has been a success thus far.

Really good game. The Conference may be weak as a whole due to injuries and whatnot, but the Eastern Conference Finals should be one of the best series of the year, for the second postseason running.

Seems like that feud between LBJ and Chalmers reached a new height tonight. I am not going to blame Chalmers. He's always been treated like shit. Just because he's not as good of a basketball as the trio are, it don't make him any less of human being. Big fucking tough guy LBJ should stop being a prick and start picking a fight with somebody that's his own size(or fame) like Kobe KD, Paul George, and Jordan Crawford. That's something Michael Jordan himself would have done.
Thu Dec 19, 2013 8:23 pm
When he stood up even I got a bit scared watching it in the TV. Can't imagine what Chalmers must have felt. But he apologized later saying "I was wrong."
But as it was stated at the moment, it's a big brother-little brother relationship. And I'm sure Juan Howard will look into it. After all, that's why he is in Miami- Internal affairs & moral boosts.
Thu Dec 19, 2013 8:42 pm
That's usually something you'd expect from Wade doing to the opponent. He doesn't make friends with enemies. He only did it with LBJ back in the days because LBJ tricked him into thinking that they're friends so Wade would go soft on him and then so that he can later join him in Miami. Look at Wade, he broke Kobe nose, shoved KG or anyone that got on his nerves in nearly every game. And last night he almost murdered Paul George with swinging his arm violently. Poor Paul George collapsed to the ground helplessly. What I mean is, Wade's got that Michael Jordan's "will eff u up" mentality. But LBJ befriended all the superstars around the league, like Paul George, and Kevin Durant, both are LBJ's bffs. I'd be more forgiving if he treated his own teammates with same level of utmost respect but he made Chalmers shit his pants last night.
