Or like DWade.

Starts tend to bitch about "injuries", nothing new.
Sun Nov 10, 2013 6:58 pm
Hopefully not. At least not if he performs like he did today.
BTW, not to bring up old stuff but something between Wade & Spo again? He said it was his decision to miss the free throw.

The spat is nothing to worry about. It's just Wade getting old and grumpy because of his diminishing level of play.

Mike Miller May Sue Miami Heat for Introducing Him to Con Man Who Scammed Him Out of $1.7 MillionMiller initially asked for $700,000 plus taxes back from the Heat, the Herald reports, after Heat executive vice president of sales Stephen Weber introduced Miller and Zafar, advising the player to invest with Zafar. Weber told Miller that Zafar was “the real deal,” according to the complaint. Miller also alleges that Weber knew Zafar was a fraud and continued to recommend him to players, and that Weber set up “side deals” in his capacity with the team that benefited himself personally. Of the $2 million Miller paid to Zafar, about $300,000 was paid back. Roughly $700,000 of Miller’s money went directly to buying tickets for Zafar, Miller claims. James Jones and Rashard Lewis, who remain with the Heat, were also scammed out of money by Zafar. Neither has yet filed suit against the team.
Sorta reason I just can't become a diehard club fan. Billion dollar business entities are pretty much never clean. What went on behind the curtain probably was even more phony.

The NBA is a bussiness organization, paravaned in a set up sports league.

If this is the Wade we get after some rest, then he should rest more often. THAT DUNK!
Oladipo showed that he is a rookie in the last couple of seconds.
Mon Nov 25, 2013 4:28 am
That dunk was nice indeed, vintage Wade though I'm afraid Wade's gonna be contantly under the care all season long. Seems like his knees are about done. This worries me how things are gonna go down during the upcoming offseason.
Mon Nov 25, 2013 3:02 pm
You mean he's gonna do surgery?
Mon Nov 25, 2013 4:10 pm
If surgery was needed and better, he would have done it right after the playoffs last season. Surgery at this point(in his 30s) probably means a last resort and drastic regression as a player ala T-Mac and Grant Hill. Instead we're left hoping he'd somehow get his knees back miraculously during the season and for the playoffs. I doubt it.
Wade even without knee problem was heading towards to weak side of prime considering his age. With knee problem I think it fastens the process. He used to be my favorite player to watch but it's been somewhat frustrating in recent years. I mean if you watched him in his prime, he was specfuckular as ever. He'll probably try to prolong playing at high level but his game is showing his diminishing athleticism. He'll have to make an adjustment like lots other superstars did but health might hold him back I'm afraid.
This leaves LBJ in somewhat awkward situation as he'll remain hungry for more even after this season.
Mon Nov 25, 2013 5:18 pm
So, for now I guess it's rest 2-3 games & play 1...
And what type of adjustments are you talking about?
About that diminishing athleticism, I don't think that's really a fact. Right now maybe but because of the knee. If fully fit, he can still play at a high level and contribute however needed. We saw that from time to time in the playoffs last year.
Mon Nov 25, 2013 8:42 pm
Yeah, Wade is Wade. He is like Batman.
Why worry about Lebron? He wouldn't just leave the team because Wade isn't as good anymore, he's loyal.
Mon Nov 25, 2013 8:48 pm
Yes, I know

He used to completely take over the game at will, on both ends, on regular basis. Scores 40+, blocks with leaping ability, steals with quickness, dunks over people, acrobatic shots, get to the line at will, cross over people like they broke ankle or tore knee ligament, gets to and finishes around the rim like nobody. Overall his explosiveness has diminished with bad knees. He probably still could take over the game for one or two stretch once in awhile though. I just miss prime Wade, his extreme explosiveness was unmatched.

Blame Wade's woes on a torn meniscus too.
Per Yahoo...
Rose's decision to repair the meniscus, rather than remove it, should help prolong his career. Dwyane Wade had his meniscus removed, for instance, and he said earlier this month, "My knee problems and the things I've dealt with started from that. That was [11] years ago and technology was different and the way you approach things was different."
His procedure was probably more similar to Chris Paul than Brandon Roy's seeing as how Wade lasted this long in the league.

Yeah I read something similar this morning from my fantasy league source Rotoworld, lol.
This really makes me wonder if Wade will take a pay cut next summer. I doubt it and he absolutely has zero obligation to do so but this might be critical for LBJ's decision.

I think Wade read his fan NovU's comments. Healthiest he has looked in a while. Defended good on the younger Suns players as well.

And it isn't Wade's role to completely takeover the game anymore, maybe that's why he doesn't do it anymore...to keep the chemistry.

See, that's how you photobomb.

"It kind of just happened," Bosh said. "I was wide open so I figured I would take a step back and in the words of our late teammate Mike Miller, `let it fly.' That was really it."
CB letting it fly

Bosh just killed Mike Miller. What a dick.
