I must say Kobe has had an above average game.

Final 126-118. Kobe with 50 points, but Nash outplayed Parker and had 32 and 13 (Ast).
Sad game, slim chance now. Shit.

Kobe had an amazing game but Thomas's three was really the clincher for the Suns in this series. The Suns will come out on Saturday and win in blowout fashion.

Wow... Kobe was right. Youth and inexperience lost them this game. I mean they were with them the whole time then a few 3's little defence by the Lakers and then it's 120-111. They had already lost, even with Kobe's back-to-back 40 something foot three's. Then George misses 2 clutch free throws that would of brought them to within 4. God damnit!

I have never liked Tim Thomas for some reason, like when he was on the Bucks, I just didn't like him. With the Laker's playing great defence, he get's open for the 3 to tie. Just another reason to add to why I don't like her.

Game 7 here we go. I'm scared :(

But I'm starting to think the Lakers won't last long even if they can get to the 2nd round.

I don't know what to feel. :?

eh..... i dunno. I think 7 will be close too. kb24 might come out stronger than we've seen so far... suns have momentum now, like the lakers did, though, just keep that going. keep nash healthy plz.

I agree with you there PHX4LIFE (I'm sorry, that tomato name doesnt make my nipples firm). I think the same thing that happened to LA in game 5 will happen to Phoenix in game 6.

They are clear favorites in this series and now is not the time for complacency to set in. With Bell coming back they probably feel a bit better but we must all remember LA still dominated PHO for most of the series with him playing.

Anyways...

About last night's game...............I fell asleep.
Sound like an old man huh?
What happened was I only got like 3 hrs of sleep the night before and I was fighting it to stay up with the game. While I did begin to watch it, I noticed during timeout that sleep was calling me since there wasnt anything interesting to watch. Fell asleep right in front of the tele. Oh well. I recorded it on the dvr thingy so I'll "analyze game tape" later  .

The good news is that we'll get to see Kobe in a Game 7 (post-Shaq).

Defining game for him, win or lose. Playing against a beatable team for a chance to advance to the second round and truly separate himself from McGrady and Garnett.

My prediction? Kobe will commit first degree murder before he loses this game.
The task of the artist is to translate for us the essence of things we take for granted.

Hire aliens to abduct Nash.

I think they need to play a no conversation kinda game. No complaining about calls or anything else, Just go play ball without the ego.

agreed...Lakers need to rotate quicker as well..

anyhow, i see the Suns winning this one in blowout fashion..unless smush can change overnight like what kobe did during his season-playoff transition.

I was kind of shocked at Skip there. There has been one game where one team was very favoured (game 4) and the others there was an even distribution of bad calls. One of them may have gotten an extra one here and there, but nothing out of line.

What the Lakers Need To Do In Order To Win Game 7:

Play team defence
Have Kobe Guard Nash on big plays
Let Kwame and Odom work the post more
Get Smush involved more
Let Nash shoot 3's all day...cuz he will miss more offend than giving him a
layup
Bench has got to be ready to go..they can not be day dreaming
double team Diaw..and Thomas when he is in the game
BELIEVE IN THEMSELVES

 I'm worried about that right there. He has been shooting the ball horribly. I say let him scrap for his (I'm kidding "I Love Smush!!!") and keep feeding Kwame and Lamar down low. Kobe will get his of course.

If they wanna get Smush involved then I say let him post up Nash. He probably wont be the most effective down there but if he gets Nash in foul trouble he is my hero.

Let Kwame and Odom work the post more Yeah
Get Smush involved more If they try that I'll be happy.
Let Nash shoot 3's all day...cuz he will miss more offend than giving him a
layup I would be thrilled if they left a 44% 3pt shooter wide open all game
Bench has got to be ready to go..they can not be day dreaming Yeah.
double team Diaw..and Thomas when he is in the game Because the Lakers have been rotating so well and challenging the Suns 3pt shots.

yea i agree....smush hasnt been doing to well...but i think his game will come more if he gets involved more....posting up nash sounds ok but i dont think that yet.....i think Lamar needs to run more plays and pass....smush just doesnt have that kind of game like Lamar...Smush is more of a SG than PG but because he can dribble and he is short he plays PG...he is not a playmaker....but if they let kobe run the plays i think that will be good too...they always double him when he drives...so if that happens more...hopefully the " others " will play there game.....

As for letting Nash shoot the 3...whats his % for this series....and his % for layups.....yeah he might make some 3's but id rather have him beat me face up then having him drive uncontested to the rim and make it 100%..i think this will make him more of a ballhog type of a player...he will not dish because he wont be driving.... so less assists and will not be the natural playmaker his is....because he can not win a game scoring 35+ and keep his team involved....

Tough loss, great game overall but a tough tough loss. Fuck Tim Thomas.

Lakers will win Game 7 and proceed to play the Clippers. Kobe will have a monster game, maybe not points wise but he'll have a monster game.
