Why do referees need a running start to call a charge?

warriors vs heat, what a game
always nice to see miami fail, what a play by lebron in the last seconds
plus nate robinson having a good game. even though he's a chucker who doesn't play defense i felt sorry for the guy when he went from being nyk starter to being waived by OKC so I root for him to do well for the rest of his career

Definitely an embarrassing loss for the Heat, comparable to some of the meltdowns in last year's Finals. Still, this is just a regular season game and these things will happen from time to time; consider Kobe who exploded for 48 points today but last week had that terrible 6/28 game in a losing effort. LeBron's still been having a big season so far but he'll have to avoid fourth quarter performances like this when the stakes are higher. Otherwise, history will likely repeat itself.

Credit to Russell Westbrook who scored 30 in Memphis, after going 0-13 in the same building earlier in the season.
If the Thunder beat the Hornets tomorrow they'll have won 5 games in 6 nights. Not a bad effort considering the travel involved.

Looks like the Heat learned a little something from LeBron's game. Clutch!
Gotta love that team chemistry.

that shit is fuckin trippy. it's cool when you're looking at it when watching the game but when you're under the basket standing it looks ugly and difficult to read.
Also taj Gibson with the facial vs wiz

Celts-Mavs ending should be nice

Holy Shit Dirk

Strong move, clutch play by Dirk.

From Clippers/Heat:
You could say Paul sold that a bit, but there's probably enough extension there to be an offensive foul. I guess they just didn't consider that first bounce an actual dribble, but it certainly danced the line of being a violation,

That entire 4th quarter of the Clips/Heat game was horribly officiated.

Just watching a replay of the game now. Definitely a scrappy fourth quarter.
Thu Jan 12, 2012 9:11 pm
Yeah, that was kind of blatant.
Thu Jan 12, 2012 10:32 pm
There was one even worse than that later on.

Oh yeah. That's the one. Triple pivot signature move.

No mention of Battier getting a fistfull of Griffin's jersey? Could've won Miami the game with that one.
Fri Jan 13, 2012 3:12 am
That was a pretty bad game for how close it was but glad the Clips got the win. LeBron is like the opposite of Tebow right now.

4th quarter again. Bron missed all the clutch freethrow and same for the whole team. And ball movement just stopped in that stretch. Was like watching early last season Heat.

While we have NBA back in the states, in China they have their own NBA going on with a Nuggets player and his sister.
http://www.sbnation.com/nba/2012/1/12/2 ... ball-brawl
So, J.R. Smith's sister got into a brawl at Chinese Pro Basketball game this week.
As CBS Sports notes, "After Smith was fouled, his sister threw a bottle onto the court. And then freaked out, choking a woman and shoving an 80-year-old. The game had to be stopped and Smith actually went into the stands to try and restrain his sister."
As for MJ the GOAT, there's a claim that he's a liar.
Was Michael Jordan really cut from his high school team?
