Isn't that what PGs are supposed to do, have low TOs?
Where's the "minus"? How could you consider "average" rebs and 3's as a negative when it's pretty normal or average anyway for a PG?

hey i was trying to make an unbiased argument here even though i believe Paul would be my choice as MVP
as far as TO's and PG's go- if you glance at the stats, you'll notice that most PG's with high assists totals/average also have high TO totals/average
the same could be said with most scorers

Hmm, Ty's 8-2 thumping just got a ton of guys back into the race.

Dunleavy for Diaw? How the hell did you manage to pull that one off, ag?
Sun Feb 03, 2008 5:07 pm
airgordy must have some embarassing naked pictures of Sam (Anurak?).
As for you cy, yes I accept. Just wait a little, I'm a little lazy to log-in to Yahoo. I will accept it as long as you don't cancel it.
Tue Feb 05, 2008 11:29 am
Anurak gave me an offer i couldn't refuse
i'm open to trading Dunleavy if anyone's interested
Mon Feb 11, 2008 4:13 am
Completed my first trade. I traded Sam Dalembert to TTJS for Ray Felton. I have gone this whole year with no real PG and thus a lack of consistent source of assists. I'm starting to wish I hadn't done it though. Oh well, we'll see what happens.

AG's the Colangelo of fantasy league. That's two great acquisitions.
Sat Feb 16, 2008 5:13 am
thanks but really...
i'm just not afraid to pull the trigger on a deal. i'm not sure what "fair value" is since i mostly look at categories i need help in
the head to head stats link on the league site is useful
i probably need a pg now

wow I got 2nd in all 3 leagues im in this year.
Ty-land got ridiculously lucky with Ramon Sessions and I blame him for my loss. Fuck this guy. A nobody for 23 weeks of the season and on the last one he becomes as good as Chris freaking Paul. wow.
and in Doobie's unofficial league, I tied with "Smokey and the Bandit" and unfortunately the tiebreaker is # of points so I lost. All I needed was one fewer turnover and I would've won.

I got 3rd place in this league which is pretty good considering my major loss of Yaoster.

so who ended up winning the NLSC one & what was your team lineup? I ended up winning the Yahoo Fantasy League I was in....I tied the Finals 5-5, but won I guess on countback....I was number 1 seed in playoffs due to best regular season record....I also somehow won with the "Terri-Bulls" almost ruining it for me, Loul Deng & Kirk Hinrich....
if anybody is interested, my roster was:
C- Marcus Camby
PF/C- LaMarcus Aldridge
SF- Lebron James
SF/SG- Rudy Gay
PG- Deron Williams
PF/C- Al Horford
PF/C/SF- Luis Scola
SF- Richard Jefferson
SF/SG- Luol Deng
PG- Steve Blake
SF/SG- Marvin Williams
PG/SG- Kirk Hinrich
My team dominated in the rebounding & blocks categories (thank you Camby & Horford), & I usually always won assists categories too....I seemed to always lose the TO & 3pt categories & seem to split the steals & other 2 shooting categories....
Keys to success were taking Marcus Camby in 2nd Round & him actually being healthy

Also drafting Horford late & keeping him on bench until he starting routinely bringing the double-doubles to the table....Richard Jefferson's career revival....picking up guys like Gay & Scola before they both exploded....also releasing Ricky Davis about half way through season & replacing him with Steve Blake....I wanted better shooting, more assists & less turnovers, & it did the job

I should've dumped Hinrich but I just didn't have the heart, since he was a 5th Round pick

but got the win, so no complaints

I had :
CP3- Carried my team. Asts & stls magnet.
Ricky D- average all-around game when Wade went down. Shitty FG%
Anthony Parker- quietly solid performer. shot pretty well before the last weeks of the season.
Odom-traded Turkoglu for him after the Gasol trade to get more rebs. Ballerific.
Dirk- solid, as usual
Gomes- surprisingly a consistent performer.
Rasho- came around towards the end of the season with great fg% and reb numbers
Z- shat on me in the last weeks but was okay when healthy
Antonio Daniels- decent numbers in Arenas's absence.
Rafer- decent all-around game, with a shitty fg%
Thaddeus Young- I had him on and off the last month. would show up for some games and disappear in others.
Key to success- trading TMac & Hughes for Chris Paul to you X if I remember right before the season started.

Also autodrafting Hedo helped too.
I lost to Ty-Land's team:
Calderon
Joe Johnson
Gay
Lebron
Millsap
J Howard
Horford
Bogut
Brewer
Hill
Noah
Tyrus Thomas
Ramon Sessions- I hate this guy. he pretty much won it for Ty-Land.

Qballer, I didn't end up signing up for NLSC Fantasy competition this season....I might do it next year, but either way, I wouldn't have traded away Chris Paul, especially for those 2 guys....Larry Hughes is always a troublesome fantasy player, & T-Mac is injury prone
Looks like Ty & I both won it all with Lebron sitting out last game....he also had Horford & Rudy Gay....
I thought about adding Sessions to my team, but I already had control of the points & assists categories, so in the end, elected not to....
the team I beat had both Kobe & Chris Paul on their team, so I was quite happy with that

although the main reason I won it was due to my rebounding, blocks & assists, plus getting enough scoring from everybody....
I think Ty would've been happy with the way Bogut ended the season, I'm sure that was also a key to his success

I had high hopes for my team after the draft...ended up, probably would've been a better roto team.
Harris-great pick steal...with the exception that he was injured for four weeks.
Williams-I wanted CP3, but he was drafted a couple of spots before. Still, durable (70+ games?), tallied up good points, assists, FG% and FT% but with loose TO rate.
Redd-3rd round pick, really contributed in multiple areas early on (had several >5 rebound and >5 assist games), scored nicely, but was injured too often for his position. Damn it.
Farmar-had him for the last month or so, but never got anything going
Mobley-was brilliant to start off, got injured and never really recover with only a few great games but generally poor FG%
Walton-ditto. Last-ditch effort after Marion died.
Marion-first-rounder, fourth pick. Was great as usual in Phoenix, but then his various injuries absolutely killed me in the last few weeks. Missed...20 games or so? Taking on teams in fantasy without your stud for a month is painful.
Kirilenko-good value on draft day, but slumped late
Thornton- got him in January on waiver-wire, just when he was warming up. A bit inconsistent, but generally great.
McCants- at the All-Star break on waiver. Consistent performer, with about 14PPG, a couple of threes and good percentage. Nice pickup
Lee-while Isiah was being an idiot for the first half of the season, not quite worth the value. But second-half, when Randolph went down and Curry sucked even more, was very solid.
Wallace-Phuck you, Big Ben. Go die in a hole. Awful, awful, pick. I had a gut feeling I should've picked Kaman, but, of course.
Maxiell-Last-month acquisition, finally gave me the steady figures I wanted out of a second center
Waived:
Frye-Kinda useless as second center.
Hawes-barely got any playing time.
Yi-Good in first-half, fell out of rotation in second half, dropped him
Navarro-shot the lights out for a while, then started sucking.
Bell-had him for a short time while Redd was injured
Francis and Redick-ditto...my last-round picks but didn't get into the rotation as I thought.
Well, 6th overall, not bad, but injuries had me down. At full-strength, I was doing pretty nicely, but Marion missed the playoffs and I got rolled.

Ty had a fantastic draft (and good draft positioning) where he basically cruised the entire season. One hell of a pre-season insight!
Tue May 20, 2008 4:14 am
Where did he go? I haven't seen him online for months.
