Jason Williams is going to be a King again. I think Posey is going with him too.
Mon Aug 20, 2007 10:05 am
wonder if this means they are backing off of trying to get bibby and are now working for just artest? if they are trying to get both i will assume they would have to trade a lot away, not even sure if the kings would give up both for what the heat have(knowing that wade or shaq wont go anywhere no matter what)
Mon Aug 20, 2007 10:06 am
Not Udonis! He's the next reliable player after Shaq and Wade on that team.
Mon Aug 20, 2007 10:17 am
Yeah I hope thay don't give Haslem up!I remember when he hit the game winner vs the wizards.
Mon Aug 20, 2007 10:27 am
they have to give him up, there is no one else on the heat worth getting for the kings besides him
Mon Aug 20, 2007 10:53 am
I saw this at miami hoops gear
Tue Aug 21, 2007 4:14 am
Please. The jersey thread is dead! You don't need to restart it in the Miami thread.
And if they don't give up Haslem, they can't get anybody. He's the only one with value on the team (other than the other two; you know who I mean).

He turned 42 back in July.

I'd still say it seems unlikely. Only a handful of players express serious interest in making a comeback at that age and there's been no word of Grant looking to get back into the NBA.
Wed Aug 22, 2007 7:20 pm
Woah,if the 2 grants join the heat,IMO they have many olds.
Thu Aug 23, 2007 11:08 am
Since Grant Hill is unlikely to be traded having just signed with the Suns and Horace Grant has shown no signs of being interested in making a comeback, I don't think it will happen.

I'm sure Pat wants LeBron James to join the Heat, too. Doesnt mean it's gonna happen.

Hey converse! The article you supposedly linked was to "Hurricanes' move spur changes". WTF?
Ok, you're not smart enough to think, but can't you even read the article's name or something before linking it. I do believe that linking something that doesn't have anything to do in the thread is considered spam.
And if you want to talk about the hurricane, start a Hurricane Dean Hub instead. j/k
I think that it was the Miami Herald actually made a mistake, not converse. I mean, since when have you saw a hurricane article in the sports section?

If you bothered reading the article you'd find a tiny segment on Riley wanting Brown to play for him. It's a pretty small segment in the article, but I guess its still relevant.
• Pat Riley called ex-Heat power forward P.J. Brown to try to convince him to join the team. Agent Mark Bartelstein said the Heat's a strong contender for Brown if he decides not to retire.
You should quote the article next time for convenience next time Converse. Maybe next time people won't jump the gun and start making terrible jokes.

everyone in the league wants pj, he must be feeling pretty good about himself right now

Why on earth would I bother to read the article? If I wanted to see more hurricane news, I would've watched the news. He's right converse, quote it next time.

I suppose that part is for me. What's your problem? You want to defend the guy, I don't care, but going after me...I don't get the point.
Fri Aug 24, 2007 8:28 am
You should have at least bothered to skim the thing. He's not at all intelligent, but he isn't some sort of dillusional retard. You should have known that the article would have at least contained the proper information. Even if it didn't, I don't see what's the point of trying to be "cool" by trying to make him look stupid, which has been done enough times as it is. Its getting old.
I'm not going after you at all... I'm just tired of people poking fun of the guy. Its easy to poke fun of someone who doesn't fight back. Even though everyone is saying how much of a retard he is (some of it is justified I suppose,) I don't think I've ever seen Converse retaliate or retaliate enough to warrant a ban. He's trying to contribute to the forums. Even though he doesn't do the best of job, you might as well let him be.
