I bet Indy is jacking off over Al Harrington as we speak - 12 points and 3 rebounds on 6-7 at the end of the first. Not looking so good for the Pacers as a team though.

He played well tonight. I beg to differ about the second part of your quote though.

The crowd was very energetic today, we love seeing Big Al play well.

talking trash is half the fun in these leagues...

indy- it's coming down Orebs, %'s, TO's, and maybe blocks

either way i'm happy: the Bulls beat the Pacers and i should have West next week ;)

Mon Nov 13, 2006 7:08 am

air: I'm most likely going to lose against you in week 3 considering each of your players play one more game than mine :(

We need an *AHEM* smiley.

I'm gonna cry so hard if Matthew accepts my offer and both Mac and Okafor go down with injuries. Randolph has been awesome thusfar so I hope I don't regret this...

I don't think he will accept it, and even if he does, what are you trying to get out of it?

Tue Nov 14, 2006 4:52 am

Rebounds, blocks and assists

That's exactly why Matthew won't do the trade.

I'm gonna cherish being #1 this week, that is, until gordon topples me because he has too many games this week :x

it's been nothing but complaining from you, mr first place ;)

i'm a little disappointed but now i'm convinced my team is the better one

i feel sorry for whoever had to play the team with Michael Redd. he had a monster game on Sat.. actually a monster week:
51 fg%
92 ft%
10 3's
149pts
8steals
even 1 blk
only 10 TO's

that's just crazy

Tue Nov 14, 2006 11:06 am

Looks like i shudnt have went with t-mac in first round, fucker only avges 17.6 ppg. :shake:

QBaller - Baron Davis: 36pts 8rbs 16ast 3stl

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Fri Nov 17, 2006 8:11 pm

yeah I don't really need the assists...

I'm glad I have Kevin Martin instead: 26 pts 1 3ptm 9rebs 2 asts 4stls 1blk, 4TOs<8TOS Baron had

all in all, in Baron's "career night" (according to Marv & Steve), I still would've benefitted more playing Martin instead of Baron.

but yeah I was not too happy seeing him do well on TV... although I do have him on another team so it's ok I guess.

Sat Nov 18, 2006 5:24 am

I kinda feel bad now for not trying harder to trade for Baron

Don't worry B-Fizzle will return.

After this trade with Jae I will have by far the best scoring fantasy team in the league. Dwyane Wade, Paul Pierce, Joe Johnson along with Tony Parker, Al Harrington and Kristic? You have to be kidding me. :D

Highest scoring team? Maybe, but my team is not that far behind:

As of Monday, my starting lineup would be:

Williams (20 ppg)
Allen (27 ppg)
Richardson (14 ppg and increasing)
Marion (20 ppg)
Boozer (20 ppg)
Pachulia (15 ppg)

On the bench:
I also have Cassell (20 ppg) and an injured Josh Howard (16 ppg).

Mon Nov 20, 2006 8:45 am

I bet I have the lowest scoring team
all of my teams always lose points each week.
I guess I don't really ever feel the need to get guys that score a lot

Tue Nov 21, 2006 12:44 am

Didn't think I'd actually beat air gordon, but... there you go

Wed Nov 22, 2006 10:09 am

for someone in 1st you awfully do a lot of crying... no nash but a loss is a loss damnit

as i said in the league site, Monta Ellis is for trade. if no one wants him, i'll just own 3's, assists, steals the rest of the way 8-)

scoring is overrated

Wed Nov 22, 2006 11:33 am

air gordon wrote:i'll just own 3's, assists, steals the rest of the way 8-)

Eh, you not having Nash evens out your extra games.

Btw, I edged you in 3's and steals, and all the other scoring categories. You can have assists, it's overrated anyway.

Wed Nov 22, 2006 2:14 pm

lol enough of this "extra game" theory. that's just the way the schedule works so tough titty man. if you were short on games, you should have started some other guys.

you didn't win because the game count was even, it was because i had only 5 guys play this week

and btw if nash (only 2 games scheduled) played- i could have taken 3's, steals, assists.. giving me the win.. all without winning a scoring category ;)
points is the easiest stat to accumulate- consider the average amount of points the nba player scores. you're in for a surprise if you think stats like 3pts, assists, and steals are overrated.

Wed Nov 22, 2006 4:06 pm

I thought about playing my other guys, but they all had 2-3 games that week as well.

Naw, every statistical category is important for me. It's just that I don't have the guys who can rack up the assists or blocks.
