Bucks should have won, but those damn refs cost them the game. Those refs missed a traveling violation by mcdeyss, which gave the pistons 3 extra points, and then in the end, they were robbed when they missed the obvious shooting foul, and loose ball foul. Anyway, congrats on mike for his return.

Mo Williams was not fouled on that last play. Charlie Bell may have been, but you have to let the players fight for the rebound in that position.
I was rooting hard for Milwaukee.

It looked like he got fouled, but anyway you have to admit that was a bad call by the refs to miss that travel

Bucks leading at the Half against the Knicks!
Believe it or not; Bogut has taken the most shots for the team, scoring 15pts on 6/13 shooting. Stott's must be really trying to save his job by actually implementing an offensive scheme that allows our bigs to shoot.

Mo williams hits a triple!! 60-57
Sat Feb 24, 2007 12:17 pm
Q-Rich just hit a three to give them back the lead.
Isn't funny how when Bogut stops getting touches on offence the lead slips away. Anybody else see this tangent every game?
Sat Feb 24, 2007 1:17 pm
I do, and what a tough way to lose, bogut fouls frye at 0.8 left and he make both throws to win. But at least the bucks are playing hard, and getting close wins every nite. Congrats to mo for the triple he made to tie the game.

I've noticed that since last season....the Bucks need to trade away all these shooting PG's and their coach, whilst they're at it....

A win finally, even it is just over the 76ers. Scrubs played the majority of the last term. Both Redd and Mo had nice games, as did Ruben. Bogut put up reasonable numbers for the amount of minutes and touches he had.

Great game, and wow were we hitting our triples tonight.
Wed Feb 28, 2007 12:41 pm
Bucks playing very well against the Warriors.
Redd is hitting triples, Bogut has been strong on the boards, Mo has been dishing nicely, decent bench contribution.
If we keep playing like this we may sneak into the playoffs.
Wed Feb 28, 2007 1:19 pm
Nice, a 20+ point win, Redd with 31 and 6 triples, while Bogut had a nice double double with 14 boards and 13 points.
Wed Feb 28, 2007 1:24 pm
Nice game, congrats on the nice shots beyond the arc, and especially on the bucks' 2 WINS IN A ROW! This was a team game, wow 31 assists, and a GREAT game.

Hooray
2 in a row. Toronto should be a test, but if we can beat them we are looking at some good form and the possibility of a solid run home to end the season.
Redd's return has made a huge difference on this team.
We are also playing better without Boykins and Gadz, and Stotts has been coaching much better of late.
Hopefully we can keep it up, and Bogut continues to perform with his mum in the crowd!

I really feel for the Bucks. They traded a great backup PG for a ballhog, shoot-first PG. But they're doing good now with Redd in line-up.

Stotts has been coaching much better of late.
That isn't what is stoping him from being cut, he is extremly good friends with Senator Kohl (the owner). Also I think the reason he is coaching better is because Redd is back. How good a coach is partly depends on the players. Phil Jackson wouldn't be one of the best coaches ever if he never had MJ, Pippen, Kobe, Shaq....
The best coach ever might be one with a horible team so he gets no recognition because you can only coach so much improvement. I am not saying Jackson is a bad coach, or Stotts is a good one, I am just saying don't judge coaches missing there stars so ruffly or vis-versa.

True to a certain extent, but Blake was playing incredibly poor here. I honestly believe he forced a trade a bit.
For the Bucks he couldn't hit open shot, played poor D, and couldn't run the offence, but that changed as soon as he arrived in Denver. He didn't want to move to Milwaukee when he was traded, and his play indicated that.
Sure he's a decent PG now, but I could have done a better job when he played for us.
As for Boykins, he is a decent spark plug off the bench. He kept us in a few games with all the injuries, but now we are relatively healthy again he is of little use. Especially now that Greer is starting to perform and look comfortable.
Rumour has it that Boykins is injured as well, which will require surgery. Meaning he will be done for the year.

Steve Blake probably just hated Milwaukee, because in his first game with the nuggets, he scored 25 points and hit 9 shots.

Bucks lead the lakers at half time, 50 - 44.

wow we might actually sweep the Lakers this season, even though kobe's out.

Thank Stu Jackson for that.

Good stuff from Bogut in the win over the Lakers, nice to see him show a bit of aggressiveness at the offensive end and get a decent amount of touches. He had a couple of impressive thread-the-needle passes as well

I Agree, Bogut has been playing like a 7 footer lately. And congrats to the Bucks for sweeping the Lakers this Season.

Here is my Bucks outlook.
1. Fire stotts (NOW HURRY!!!)
2. Tank season
3. Sign a good coach like Rick Adelman, or someone who has actually lead a team to a winning season!
4. Let this gold GM of ours draft with a top 4 pick
5. Sign a big name FA or two. (we should have as much free cap as anyone else)
6. Pray we dont get injured a ton next season.

I love Bogut and his flagerant.
I hope the Bucks get the 1st pick. Greg Oden here we come. Plus we get to trade away Bogut then. Also Boykins needs to be ditched.

Not a bad idea, but there's few problems with it.
1. Couldn't agree more, think this is a given
2. Pretty much happening, even though the team is trying to win.
3. Will kohl give up the money required to bring in a coach like that? I think somebody like Kurt Rambis, Doug Collins, Stan Van Gundy or Sidney Montcrief would be good options too.
4. Hopefully Harris survives the cull at the end of the season. If he does, he better draft a defensive big.
5. Our cap space will be limited for several reasons. We have to resign Mo Williams, that ain't going to be cheap. Bell, Ilyasova, Ruben and Skinner are also free agents. We'll probably resign 2-3 of those, definately Bell and Ersan. Add 2 more draft picks, then theres hardly any cap space left. We do need a a backup PG (hope to God Boykins ops out), and a defensive 4-5. If this is covered by the draft we should throw our mid level exception at Gerald Wallace (see what happens, probably gets turned down), otherwise look for a defensive wing.
6. Get a better medical team.
Hopefully we get a high pick. I would be very happy with Horford or Branden Wright. I would resign Ruben, Bell and Ilyasova. Than our depth chart would look something like this.
C: Bogut - Gadz - Reiner
PF: Horford or Wright - CV - Ilyasova - Markota
SF: Simmons - Patterson - Ilyasova - Noel
SG: Redd - Bell - Patterson - FA
PG: Mo - Bell - Greer - 2nd Rounder
With a good defensive coach, or at least a better one with a solid offense in place this team would be competitive in the playoffs. Hopefully it works out this way.
