You should learn about the MVP selection process the way LeBron needs to learn not to choke.
Fri Mar 29, 2013 5:03 am
Leave my learning. So, in a serious note you are saying that LeBron didn't deserve the MVPs he got & this season he shouldn't get the MVP? I would love to see you or anyone give logic for that. Like all naysayer posts, that one will be very entertaining and partly hilarious to read.
Fri Mar 29, 2013 5:17 am
I didn't say that he didn't deserved it.
I only said he's a choker like he always is.
I'm not the one who used the 'OMG 4 MVP AWARDS! YOU'RE WRONG!' defense of the 'choking one'.
Fri Mar 29, 2013 5:33 am
lol I remember the days when people said LeBron froze in the 4th. Now they don't say that no more, just like you won't be saying that "choke choke" in the future and coming up with a new "bitch please" topic. It's as simple as that. And he will be a 4 MVPs guy by the end of this season, that's a fact unlike the choking one which was proven wrong last season.
And you cant' measure the greatness of the streak which is really sad. 'cause deep down everybody(yes, even the naysayers) knows we were witness of something very special in the past couple of months.

That's the point I guess...to you guys. If winning a championship doesn't cut it, maybe "it" is...

You're drafted by a team you should stay there, and your kids should be bound as well. And their kids. Only way to be a legitimate champion. To run away to where you want to is to betray the proper owner of a player.
You can't be serious with this mess. So you're against free agency, against pro athletes having the same freedoms as the rest of us, to get the best deal and work wherever we want.
I'm not even a Heat/Lebron fan, but the hate in this thread is ridiculous. Traitor? Please.

SoF'nAwesome wrote:Wow, the haters are really on a "bitch please" mode. Meh, I don't blame them. Been waiting SO LONG for a moment like this. And coming up with shit. So, get in the moment, bitch away without logic just for the sake of it. If you question the greatness of Heat or LeBron, you are by far away from the 101 of balling. As for Jordan, I don't remember him being on the 71-72 Lakers team.
So, what? There is always next year. And the Heat & Bron showed that they are by far the best of this time. And when the 4th MVP and the finals will be returning home, I guess that's when the bitching will be done....for a while though. Just like last season, 'cause them haters are always lurking around just for a moment.
The streak didn't become our religion, it was fun while it lasted. Nothing more than a streak, just a funstop on our way to the championship.

Ok to clear things up, LeBron is a great player I admit that, As a Bulls Fan I respect him as a player, problem though is he needs to experience the 80's fashion of playing basketball.

These cats today don't know what real physical play is. The 80s? Shit, what about the 70s? Dave Cowens and Paul Silas should be arrested for what they did to opposing players. And running into Wes Unseld was like hitting a brick wall. Thanks to the rule changes that favor offense over defense, today's NBA (and NFL) ain't as rough as it used to be.

SMH
At least be a man like benji if you are going to shit on LBJ's greatness. Don't be pretentious and say incomprehensible things like 'respect but' stuff.
80s? LoL. Why. Wasn't 90s the definite defensive era that featured legendary defensive stoppers in prime and many alltime great defensive teams? And why is it the problem that LBJ needs to experience 80's basketball. You guys realize that he's probably the only player that gets hammered with real fouls in today's NBA, right? He's not like Kobe where he gets 20 freethrows for just being looked at(lol look at yesterday game, a jump shooter gets 20 fta).
Sat Mar 30, 2013 3:54 am
This is like "Midnight In Paris". As time goes on...
Everyone knows that Bron watches the 80s & older games like it's his job as a student of the game. He is learning and applying. And that can't be said about any other guy in the league currently.
And I don't know why the 80s is coming up here. The 80s is over, it's 2013 now, live that. Physical or non physical.
As for Kobe, man I don't blame the refs. I want to see the Lakers getting 4-0 against Spurs in the first round as well

WRONG.
Kobe.
Just ask Bill Russell.
Sun Mar 31, 2013 4:42 am
You are missing on the "applying" part there.
Sun Mar 31, 2013 5:20 am
Kobe Bryant figured out what leadership style suited him best. Kobe Bryant doesn't care if you think he's a villain. Kobe Bryant wants to win and keep winning. Like Bill Russell before him, it's HIS job to make THEM better. He just does it differently. And if you don't like it? He doesn't care. This is his way.
DEAL WITH IT.

Where is this CB the other 364 days?
Tue Apr 02, 2013 8:29 am
Since the remaining games are useless for the Heat, how about resting all key players majorly and let bench warmers get their long due minutes. I am all for it.
Seriously, the homecourt advantage in the Finals is a joke. Not even an advantage. Should have let OKC and SAS have it.
Tue Apr 02, 2013 5:29 pm
Don't get too cocky. We untouchables right now but playoffs is an whole different story. But yes, season is pointless right now. Everything is done for there.
Tue Apr 16, 2013 12:44 am
With that record and a bench good enough to win games, Heat are still the team to beat in the playoffs.
Fri Jun 28, 2013 4:44 pm
BOOM!Greg Oden has been working out for the Miami Heat in recent days and Pat Riley confirmed the team is interested in him.
Oden would be a very interesting fit in Miami, where he could slide into a situation where few would be expecting big things if and when he does return. A lot has to happen for Oden to sign with the Heat, but it sounds like both sides would welcome a deal. Jun 26 - 12:33 PM
Fri Jun 28, 2013 11:58 pm
Low risk for the Heat, good opportunity for Oden.
Sat Jun 29, 2013 1:12 am
oden is interested in miami so even when he does nothing he still has a shot at a ring
Sat Jun 29, 2013 2:19 am
He replaces Juwan Howard?!
